Ronan is INSANE now... and Baron Mordo is GOOD...

Ronan and Maximus both got big buffs, and as a result they seem like one of the more powerful packages in Marvel Snap right now.

Power Estimate: I had a fantastic run with this deck, and I'm not the only one finding success with similar builds. There are a number of Ronan and Maximus lists like this one near the top of the meta according to the data from Untapped.gg since the patch. Decks like this one could be strong meta options moving forward.

It's a great play, but it wasn't just a bet. Regis knew that the opponent probably had a rock in hand from Subterranea, and that they would probably play it right to get 3 power, so they'd have 8 power with Ms. Marvel. If Regis only played Shang-Chi and one rock, he'd only have 6 power and lose. He knew that the only winning play was to try to beat 8 power.

@StarkMaximum yup, you got that right. I watched a lot of other players got epic clutches n won thanks to Iron Lad. In my case, sometimes in many matches there were crucial turns that i need to draw specific cards to turn the table around, but it always, ALWAYS end up 1 turn late / assuming that card was at top deck on Final turn after drawing 😑

Mr fantastic but that still can't hold up to Ms marvel....but probably the best option if you're looking to spread power....and nebula forces them to play that lane so she don't get big....but I would guess any good 1 drop....Iceman , neco, sunspot probably

Isn't nebula a bit counter-productive? Incentivizing your enemy to play more cards? Wouldn't the newly buffed Punisher or Man-Thing work better as they punish enemies for playing quanity over quality? Also, you can throw invisible woman into the deck to prevent Baron Mordo and Maximus from helping your enemy, as well as playing Mystique onto invisible woman in case you dont get Ronan until turn 6.

What? Once Mystique gets an Ongoing ability, she loses her On Reveal. She can’t be retriggered twice.

I can't reply directly but you are right and wrong. Once mystique becomes an ongoing she can't be retriggered, BUT if she isn't an ongoing she can be. An example of this is that you can Absorbing man a mystique without an ongoing effect, but not a mystique with one

@@joseph2000117let’s suppose that Mystique didn’t have a valid target when she was played and so she was left with her On Reveal. Then you play Ronan and then Odin to retrigger Mystique’s On reveal. Last card played was Odin. Mystique will do nothing.

He means you kissed out on the fun/cool play since you could have gone ronan>free odin to retrigger the mystique to be a ronan since it didn't have a copied ongoing ability. Shang is the safer play later on tho

Damn! You missed a baller play on that raft game! You could have played Ronan on 5, moved Jeff, and played that free Odin to trigger the mystique again to copy the Ronan (or played Odin first to grab the Ms Marvel if you wanted that)

This is why i hate the marvel snap method of getting new cards. Up until this point, Master Mold was kinda awful. But this new buff makes him playable... but no-one in their right mind has spent resources unlocking him which means barely anyone can make use of this deck. It's so annoying!
