Hang on. Isn't that Rosebud country club? Ron, I don't think it's public. North course, which Ron played is beautiful. Tight contoured fairways framed with pine trees. The green contours are smallish and undulating, and well bunkered in that sand belty Mackenzie style. Well worth a play. The south course is still nice, with wider fairways and larger flatter greens. It has more native vegetation to give a different feel.

@@brendanmcmillan almost all private courses in Melbourne offer public access. It's part of what makes Melbourne one of the greatest cities for golf in the world. Maybe only beaten by St Andrews, if you are a resident there. I think you would only find it hard to get a green fee spot at 5 top sand belt courses, Peninsula, The National, and Capital
