I love the song "It's never gonna rain again". The guitar is haunting and genius. Dave is my all time favorite western singer!!! The first song song I ever heard was "Come Ride With Me" and it's my number one favorite! You're the greatest Dave.

I have a very special memory of this incredible cowboy. We were doing fundraising in Lone Pine for the movie museum. He and a story teller (whose name escapes right now) played Lone Pine High School auditorium. Must have been around 2000. I left that venue and wrote my first cowboy prose. Last time I saw him was a Buck's place in Bakersfield for the Cattlewomen's Assn. Long time fan and follower. Thanks Dave

This mans music is the background to my entire life. Deeply enamoured of the music, love where I live in the forests of Western Australia but gosh Dave Stamey would be a good reason to visit the US. Thanks for this, I subscribed too. God bless x

We're watchin'. Had John put on our Viewing computer with a the full sound system, I gave John a 5 minute warning (LOL). But we're wondering if Dave played at our Ridgway, CO "Cowboy Poetry Gathering" series that our "Legends of the West" sponsored? Some of the events on those days and evenings were held at what was then known as "The Big Barn:. It wa s wonderful venue for music and dancing, when appropriate, owned by the late Dennis Weaver. John said he has a poster signed by all the participants of one of the years' events..gonna look. This is wonderful. Thanks.
