Here's the thing: Ronda is beautiful. She is beautiful both on the inside and on the outside. And she is beautiful not only because of her lovely cheeks and her golden cascade of hair and her amazingly stunning smile and the way she blushes everytime she laughs. She is beautiful because she is honest. She is sincere. She has that no-bulshit approach to life, the universe, and everything. She has a lotta haters, but who the fuck cares? The technique she has displayed was simply utterly amazing. She DOMINATED that fight like we have never seen before in MMA. She completely OUTCLASSED Miesha Tate in every possible aspect. I don't know about you people, but as a martial artist, I watch MMA to learn. To improve myself as a person and as a martial artist. If I happen to find someone worth loving, like Rowdy Ronda Rousey, I WILL love them. And I WILL love them regardless of what they do or don't in their private lives. You can hate Ronda all you want, and that's fine. As far as I'm concerned, all of her fans (myself included) would go to hell and back for her. They are TRUE fans. They are REAL fans. We love Ronda for what she is. What you see is what you get, aye? And you can't be more real than Ronda. So, I think Ronda would agree with me when I say FUCK YOU, YOU BUNCH OF WHINY LITTLE BITCHES! _!_

Her answers about the worry of breaking an arm, etc... is part of why she's successful in this sport. You can't worry about that stuff when both you and opponent are both in there after signing on the line to defeat each other. I had a hard time reaching that level; people are just different, and the closest I came to being in that mentality like Ronda's is when I did my best. It also proved to me I and likely others aren't always necessarily that far from having the physical gifts some pros have, but mentally some of us have longer to go to build/have that necessary "selfish" attitude in the competition. It's just the way it works... you can't expect to win at that or even amateur level, forever, being generous.

Ronda Rousey is a trail blazer champion who i admire and respect. She is not only a gifted fighter, she is brilliant not only in talent and ability but in her thinking, that is why she wins, and even if at some time she loses she will never quit, she will brush it off and keep on training and fighting...the boos are actually fuel that make her fight better so .....she deserves alot of credit for breaking barriers for girls and women .....i respect her hard work ethic and spirit, she is a true champion and role model....after her fighting career ends i know she will be used to encourage kids and women and men.....she is a champ now and forever....Go Ronda go.....

I am seriously looking forward to Ronda vs McMann. This will be a match between the 2 most credentialed grapplers since Yoshida vs Gardner. Ronda has Olympic bronze, world silver, 3 golds, a silver, and a bronze at the pan ams in judo. Sara has an Olympic silver, a silver and 2 bronze at worlds, 2 golds a silver and a bronze at the pan ams in freestyle. Sara also has a gold medal in FILA no gi grappling and quite a few naga and or grapplers quest medals. Ronda also trains with Leo Frincu, Jr world champ in Greco. These ladies are 2 SERIOUS grapplers. Sara may not be as dynamic as Ronda but should be bigger and stronger with a rock solid mount.

Because she started a whole bunch of drama with Ronda, clearly thinking she was gonna get in her head and make her beatable... but losing to her (again) just made it clear Ronda's the better fighter, which has her all bummed out knowing that even with the psychological attack she just isn't as good. The fact is, people like Tate who thrive on drama are always gonna be upset when they can't deliver on their own shit talking. It adds embarrassment to injury.

3:50, that one other reporter tried to bait Rousey into a Mike Tyson trap in a way. By a Mike Tyson trap, I meant catch her starting to get too proud or arrogant after the Tate fight; or catch her contradicting past statements about never underestimating any and every opponent to come her way. I love that she's not taking that bait; and I love it more that she's staying consistent in how she still approaches opponents.

Well not liking PC or false people doesn't mean you have to support people with even worse character traits. Rousey is arrogant and there is nothing more fake than a woman getting in a mans face and trying to tell him how to be a man knowing full well he would crush her. Did you even watch TUF? Shes a spoilt brat, and saying "Oh she'll kick your ass" is a childs way of looking at and judging peoples merit. Dana even offered to pay for Dolce to help her get to 135 in a healthy way. If cyborg wanted to fight Ronda she HAS to go to her ronda is the undefeated undisputed bantamweight champion. Ronda is not avoiding a fight with anyone she is the champ. Whoever is the #1 Contender is who she is gonna have to fight. What Rousey also said about Tate doing things to make her look good publicity-wise, both Tate and Caraway, makes sense to me. It's not something someone can learn to do, it's instinctive. From the footage I saw of Tate and Rousey's interactions on TUF 18, I know bullshit when I smell it, so to speak; and Tate does still hold a grudge against all the wrong people out of seeming jealousy toward Rousey's rise in the MMA ranks In Tate's position, if I had her feelings and attitude toward someone as skilled and proficient as Rousey, and I let those feelings blind the fact that Scott Coker made a decision to go ahead and put Rousey against Tate rather than Kaufmann beforehand, then I should have enough business sense to accept that over any personal animosity or fear or jealousy toward whom they oppose me. Professional MMA fighting is a business; Tate's paid to fight; and in her place, I'd shut up and fight, win or lose.

She wont fight cyborg because she knows she would lose.Everything else is an excuse. Ronda is very technical when it comes to her armbars and judo throws but really she is not a very well rounded fighter.Her striking is not up to snuff nor her jitsu. She reminds me of the first stars of mens mma. They were not very well rounded,basically one trick ponies. What they did they did very well but once someone figured out how to defend their trick then it was over. Gracie for example or even Liddel, rampage,tito, etc.I would think however that by now, women or not, mma has evolved to a point where they crosstrain specifically for it. So the talent levels would be much higher. The tuf finale with the females was a big dissapointment due to the lack of technical abilities. I could not help but think about mma in the early nineties and how much in large part the sheer athletic abilities got them through.Words are wind show me what you are made of or stfu.Comparing her to fedor is absurd btw lol. She is cute though. Sex sells so milk it while you can. I personally hate paying for a ppv with them on the ticket. Its like ordering a filet mignon and getting a shank. Give the ppv airtime to the people who have earned it instead of a sideshow like the kardashians. At least make it the damn undercard or something.
@squadron216311 жыл бұрын
She proved at 169 that she definatly is growing and has more weapons than just the armbar. She was beating Meisha standing, beating her in the clinch, she even showed a variety of submissions she was going for when she was on the bottom. Hats off to Meisha putting up a hell of a fight but people need to remember Ronda is only getting better, she has only had like 9 fights or so period and she improves every fight. Cyborg needs to either move to 135 and have a chance in the UFC to bring her career back from the dead or stay at 145 and beat a division that doesn't really have any competition at all. She needs the fight more than Ronda cause there are alot of fights for Ronda at 135. Hate on her armbars all you want people but Ronda walks in the cage with a sign that says "I'm going to armbar you" and still no one has stopped it. That in itself is impressive.

***** Exactly, prime example, Rousimar Palhares and his kneebars. The holes that Ronda has in her game, she is filling them, everyone saw how much her striking has improved. You can't really say too much of anything critical about her. The only concern I see with her is and its showed in every fight, she does not like to get hit. But when he says "Well Rounded" theres not that many women fighters that are well rounded because its such a new division but its growing quick and with the straw weight division coming in.
@squadron216311 жыл бұрын
It is what it is, there going to hate regardless and Ronda showed ALOT of tools her last fight, her striking, when she was on the bottom saw her working rubberguard and defending Meishas punches good, her judo on point as usual and she is only getting better. Btw, f'n love saying judo moves by their japanese names lol, just makes the move sound that much more bad ass lol like Tsurikomi goshi.

grahamhg HAHA. Yeah... I'd love to see her roll with BJJ black belts to put that to the test, I know many, MANY black belt women who would smoke her and don't even try to say you meant she could hang with men.

Some of you guys are just hypocrites... just talk shit on comments.. but y'all know Ronda Rousey is the best and forever will be the one to bring MMA UFC to a whole new level!

Ronda, if I change my name to "Fedor"....?

Lots of respect for her skills, I admit she's a badass champ, still not cool with the way she handles herself though.

Bros no one is going to remember the women's bathem weight division in a few years this shite is going to turn into fucking dust.

She is blunt but honest. Like come on, Miesha just wanna be the peoples favorite. Fighter wise, this was such a miss match. Ronda was like a cat playing with the mouse before it gets bored and just eats it.

I'm pretty sure Fedor prefers easy going, feminine woman. Ronda Rousey is pretty much the opposite of that. I'm not sure if any straight man wants a prickly, man-ish woman like her tbh.

Danna White needs to stop helping Ronda from avoiding Cris Cyborg !
@oldsaltydawg868811 жыл бұрын
you mean the cheater she/male steroid? rousey is in a different promotion, in a different class, steroid is old news, and irrelevant. if she wants a shot, DROP the wieght, piss CLEAN and come to the champ. the champ doesnt come to you

Cyborg needs to quit talking shit and agree to the testing terms if she wants to fight. but since she can't or wont it ain't gonna happen. which is why she is in a low lvl promotion with crappy testing standards. when she wants to get serious she will get her shit together. but I guess she is comfortable with beating the crap out of lesser fighters and making less money in a shit promotion.
@888LDN11 жыл бұрын
flirtyguy34 Your totally wrong !

LDN LONDON how am I totally wrong? is she not in a low lvl shitty promotion? uh yeah she is. she damn sure is not in the UFC which is the absolute top MMA promotion. it is also the best paid MMA promotion so yeah she is making less money. and does it have lesser testing standards? oh hell yeah! she was offered a deal by Dana which included stringent testing standards and she refused. she said she can't make weight yeah because she is still roiding! so where exactly am I wrong? please explain and provide some sources to back up your asertions that I am wrong. I am sure that I can find plenty of documentation to back up my claims.
if she'd keep her hands off her hair,,it isnt a beauty pageant its a interview Ronda.

dont think ronda can take a hit but her stand up definitely improved. her judo throws are quiet refreshing to watch. big fan of the airtime the throws give lol. cant wait to watch the judo vs wrestling showdown! am i the only person who thinks the ground game in the women's division is more exciting than the men's division?
@rwasta700711 жыл бұрын
her boxing improved but boxing is not a thing you can just pick up in short time, for it to become automatic, and for you to be disciplined with it, takes many years, her boxing is seriously pitifull everything else awesome
@skysz8611 жыл бұрын
rwasta7007 im still shocked tate was trying to take rousey down the entire fight. i mean c'mon she got tossed around like a rag doll. never seen so many judo throws in 1 fight.

skysz86 i think she was getting exited about the fact she was past the first round, but i thought the same thing, ronda will lose with a good boxer with takedown defence
@bluenickels11 жыл бұрын
skysz86 Hey, no one thought Alan Belcher would take Palhares down but he did and dominated. To that end maybe it was a surprise tactic. Regardless Ronda was awesome.

belcher took palhares to the ground without getting his knee snapped? lol i've got to see that.

The Ali stuff was a bit too much. People accept Alis gesture because he can get away with it, its funny when he does it. I love and crave ur touch ronda. Ur the best, pitty ur too way ahead of all the rest. Pure talent, hard work and beauty.

The talk about Cyborg I see below:She signed on with UFC.......without a 145 weight class. Why? Did she expect to not fight at 135 and hang around forever blaming Dana and Zuffa, like she did in interviews for not getting her fights? Then bitching about Rousey dodging her and not being willing to fight her at a different weight when she signed on in the same fucking company? This has turned into a huge not funny joke. Cyborg is a man, and so is her husband. She's more man than the transgender "woman" who got beat by a woman in that tournament, who came out after entering the tournament without telling anyone it was actually a trans. Fuck Cyborg. Get clean, hit 135 and then earn a shot at Rousey and the title if you want to say your the best. Fedor was a BAAAAAD man no doubt. He ended up getting beat by a second rate UFC fighter though, Verdum. That sucks. Cyborg needs to do this now, or stfu and go away.
@hulksmash640710 жыл бұрын
notice no one responds to your logic because they're too stupid. What you said is 100% accurate and the GuyRoid nuthuggers know it.
@1249lineman10 жыл бұрын
Thx Hulk. It is bad enough the pressure on 2-0 and 1-1 new fighters to get in the cage with woMEN like Cyborg, or any top level athlete in the sport as it is. Peace.
@1249lineman10 жыл бұрын
@700rwhp-It is beneficial for male athletes to travel and compete in different organizations and in different countries. Especially training and competing at high levels in other disciplines as well, then graduating so to speak, to the higher ranks like Bellator, Pride(bought) and UFC of course. That isn't as true for the women though. They are better career wise, and financially to get into the UFC asap. Cyborg was there and could have made weight, according to her(allegedly)and Ortiz. She couldn't do it on drugs, or off them, if she's clean or not it seems, so who's ducking who? Early in her career, whether you know it or not, Rousey said she wasn't ready to step up to that level yet, to someone at Cyborgs level. Don't blame her. She's a nasty bitch, but it's irrelevant. Rousey took her shot and "shot" right past Cyborg. Good for her. Stay in Strikeforce and fight a cheating feman or go to the biggest organization for the biggest money? That's not a difficult choice. The way into UFC was at 135 not 145 and Rousey showed she could do it and has dominated. Look at Cyborgs bone structure for some evidence of what years of abuse has done to her and you can see why she can't.

That Fedor shit was getting a bit lame. Like a 5 year old school girl with an attraction to the teacher who taught her how to tie her shoes. The potato face posse is about to give me some thumbs down for that one I bet.
