Everyone needs to get off the idea of Rousey vs Cyborg. Neither one is ducking the other. They do not fight in the same organization. Until a deal can be reached in which both the UFC and Invicta have nothing to lose you will not see the fight. This is not street fighting, you do not just challenge someone and its on. This is professional fighting.

***** not at all. Invicta does not want the match to happen unless they stand to make a fortune. if their champion and biggest star gets beat by Ronda then Invicta would lose everything. Before a match between the two happens they both would have to be in UFC or both the UFC and Invicta (as well as both women) would need huge sums of money. This isn't street fighting. You dont just challenge who you want and it happens. Plus, Cyborg already turned down the UFC offer before.

James Warner Invicta and ufc work together all the time. Cyborg had a contract agreement with ufc she had to get out of before she went to invicta. Many of the ufc women were from invicta. ufc promotes invicta. Hell, dana sent the owner of invicta flowers at her first event and has been nothing but supportive to invicta. The issue has nothing to do with any problems within organizations, this is not a case like fedors. The only similarity to fedor is that many people believed he was the best so at that time the ufc champ was not considered the toughest fighter around, likewise cyborg is considered by many to be the toughest woman around which means the ufc champ (in the eyes of many) is not.

wrong on quite a few levels.The UFC promotes Invicta fights, they do not have their top fighters go head to head. Invicta does not want their champion for fight against the UFC champion. Should Invictas champion lose (and likely would) Invicta would lose a substantial amount of money. In the case of Fedor he ducked top competition, choosing to fight wal mart stock boys. once he did step it up due to the frequent criticism he lost 3 in a row. Fedor wouldn't even fight the strikeforce champ because he knew he would lose. do not bring fedor into this. fedor ducked every fight possible. at least cyborg fights who she can.

Do you have any idea the high level of skill it takes to turn a flying knee into a twisting takedown, defend yourself landing on your back, take her arm without her sliding out the gate and potentially taking Ronda's back or at the very least standing up, and turning that into an inverted shoulder lock/armbar? Can you even comprehend the years of intense training it would take you to be able to do that from a completely unexpected position? It's crazy skilled, and wasn't at all handed to her. Jose Aldo once started a fight with a flying knee, and knocked Cub Swanson out cold. It's not some completely ill advised move. It's just Ronda is that damn good. Get an education, son.

Because if they made a weight class for 145 then it'd render Invicta even more obsolete than it already is. Either that or they can't come up with enough high caliber fighters in the 145 weight division and then there's always that issue with money. Building up a division takes time. Also, it's stupid to make an entire division for JUST one fight. They could always make a catch weight fight, but that wouldn't be for the belt. Better for Cyborg to just lose the extra 10 pounds.

I don't why everybody wants the UFC and Ronda to bend over backward for Cyborg. Sure, she's good - but it's not Dana's and Ronda's job to get her in the door. If she wants that fight, she can cut weight just like every other fighter does. Challengers come to the champ, not the other way around. Nobody demands this shit of male champs.

Im gonna laugh so hard when Ronda beats cyborg in the first round the only way cyborg wins is if she catches that perfect shot that rocks her before she gets close enough to toss her down and rip her arm off. People forget carano could have easily finished her fight against cyborg if I remember correctly she had her in full mount then let her up like an idiot and that led to her demise but ronda wont let her up without taking that arm for the trophy case first.
