In the UK we tend to think that the price of food has gone up by a fantastic amount, but we are still able to buy food that is artificially cheap because of the purchasing power of the big supermarkets, who undercut the prices that farmers and producers can sell their produce for! I have seen how expensive vegetables and fruits are in Japan! This can be explained by an ageing population who can no longer work in agriculture, and the young people who prefer to work in the City. I would love the chance to be a farmer in Japan, it looks like a beautiful life!!!! Thank you for your video Kan.
