It was competing with BORDER which ultimately won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and continues to garner high TRPs when aired on tv. Don't know about you, but not even srkians watch DTPH when broadcasted on Sony. Otoh, DEEWAR, TRISHUL and KAALA PATTHAR continue to remain classics.
