As usual, most excellent advice Ron. I especially agree with the preventative fungicide apps. Fungus issues in lawns are much easier dealt with in that way as opposed to curative applications. AAMOF, curative apps can be very costly as many products have product usage info stating to apply every 2-4 weeks until symptoms disappear. That my turn into many apps of rather costly products. Happy New Year! Stay safe.

Heya Richard! Glad to hear from you sir. I’ve definitely experience fewer disease issues once I started a preventative program. Appreciate you chiming in as always. Happy new year. 🥳

Appreciate you watching Greg. It’s a quiet time of year so harder to produce valuable content.

I could understand. My yard is still generally green (about 60%) but it is boring now. Just poa annua keeps me busy spraying certainty these days. I actually looked back and I applied my pre emergent back in September but this stuff is coming out in a vengeance. I’m not sure if it is because my neighbors have a bunch of it and it is traveling over or what. Thanks for your help along the way!

Thanks Ron, I put down my Bermuda sod 3 weeks ago it is still green but slow growing, can I put down some fertilizer before my lawn goes into dormancy? I do have Essential G. and Lebanon Country Club. Thanks again
@RonHenry2 жыл бұрын
You can Jim. Id go with a higher potassium fertilizer like this: golfcourselawn.store/products/7-0-20-stress-blend-3-iron-bio-nite-granular-lawn-fertilizer

What is the application rate for Headway G? How far does that 30 lb bag go?
@RonHenry2 жыл бұрын
15 square feet and 2lbs per 1k. The video in the product description goes into more detail.

Ron, I live in central Oklahoma, and I'm considering using Essential G. It gets cold in the winter, I'm not sure the ground freezes, but what is your recommendation? Looks like I'm in zone 7a.
@RonHenry2 жыл бұрын
If it doesn’t freeze, you can apply it Frederick. 😎

Hi Ron, I am in the Caribbean. I have zoysia, but nutgrass has taken it over badly. What's your one product recommendation? Thank you.
@RonHenry2 жыл бұрын
This will take care of nutsedge in Zoysia: golfcourselawn.store/products/certainty-herbicide-1-25-oz-sedge-and-poa-annua-control Use it with surfactant for Best results: golfcourselawn.store/products/hi-yield-spreader-sticker-non-ionic-surfactant-16-oz Not sure if you have a service in the states that can get it transferred to you in the islands. That’s what my parents do.
