Get Your Pre-Emergent: golfcourselawn.store/collections/lawn-weed-killers/pre-emergent

Ron, I live in North East Florida. Yulee specifically. My lawn is Bahia and I’m slowly trying to convert it to a clover lawn. I’ve planted micro clover twice so far. Last year which is already established obviously and about a month ago which is still coming in. A big problem though is that I have plagued of all types of weeds. I have a corner lot with preserve at the back and side of my home so I get all types of weeds. What can I use to kill and prevent weeds without harming the current and growing clover?

Ron, I just watched your entire fix my ugly lawn series and I can't say how appreciative I am of you for giving all that information to us. I followed other KZbinrs and I finally noticed their grass was cool season grass. It's way different with Bermuda. I just wanted to hop on here and say I appreciate your help and hard work with helping us with this. Keep up the good work. Subscribed!!!

Great info. I sure I’m too late to the game to ask this. I’m up north, I did a full lawn renovation in October of last year. Is it possible to still put down prodiamine for the spring?

It would be better to avoid pre-emergent until fall if you just established a new lawn. You can control weeds using post emergent herbicides like this: golfcourselawn.store/products/tenacity-and-sedgehammer-herbicide-kit-with-surfactant-and-dye-cool-season-grass

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I live in new jersey and have some areas of my "not so golf course" lawn that became bare and need seed. I would like to put down a pre-emergent as well to keep weeds in the whole lawn away. Purchased a soil test kit and plan on gathering the sample and sending off this week. Which pre-emergent and seed would you use for this situation? I have an area that is prone to clover I'd like to take kill off. Thanks
@RonHenry9 ай бұрын
Hi Mary. If you plan is to seed the lawn in the spring, you should not use pre-emergent. It will negatively impact the new grass' ability to grow. You can take care of the weeds using post-emergent herbicides and still get a good result with your seeding project. This kit has 2 herbicides, surfactant, and dye and will do a good job cleaning up weeds in your cool season lawn. golfcourselawn.store/products/tenacity-and-sedgehammer-herbicide-kit-with-surfactant-and-dye-cool-season-grass Hope this helps.

Everyone needs this weapon in their arsenal to battle the weeds. Hey hope you have a great spring and thanks again for all the excellent info !
