Never bettered. I had this on VHS recorded when it went out on BBC2. It still fills me with as much excitement as it did when I first saw it. It was probably my first experience of seeing people play electronic music live and see that there is still room for begin able vibe off each other and create a real sense of fun and electricity as performers

Thank you so much for posting and sparkling up the audio! I first saw this when it was broadcast and to a 24 year old rock/funk/jazz/prog and aspiring drum and bass/jungle fan this was an eye-opener! And i can still see myself so blown away I ended up dancing round my livingroom absolutely enthralled. Changed my drumming world. Love the enhanced sound kick in at 5 mins 40-ish. Love it!

Cheers for the comment! And yeah, this was a weird one for me due to the fact that i had Roni Size share this video on his Facebook a few years ago as it appears that this is the best version on the internet of this set! I'd have thought he'd have a copy from the BBC of the original footage, but it seems not. I'm so glad i decided to hit record on my tape deck that evening....

I've thought the same thing!! It would be amazing to have a complete version uploaded :)
@ianmcsherry52542 жыл бұрын
as always with the BBC, it probably depends on what they consider worth archiving, and budget. It will take time and money to transfer original pro video tape to digital, and might need tweaking or even restoration too. I'm no professional. It would be great to see though, along with the Mercury awards performance, and Later with Jools Holland.
