This game in theory can have FTL levels of replayability if they mix up the zones and the enemies/a few varieties of bosses. As it currently stands it looks incredibly polished and hope it continues to get more content/support to keep it fresh.

I am so happy coverage for this is back. The update since the, dare I say, alpha demo is looking AMAZING. Can't wait for a full release of this simple, yet deep af game!

Pretty hyped for this game, although as someone who really likes short matches (ideally ~30 mins or less) the run length is a bit of a bummer. Also from the amount of actions and upgrades you get, it seems maybe the structure outstays its welcome a bit, feels like 20-30% could be cut without losing too much.

I can completely agree, I hope some of the zones get transformed into alternate zones for run variety instead

It’s not as long as you think. In the prologue, I managed to get sub 10 on my 3rd attempt as someone who doesn’t speedrun. This game will probably take 30 mins to finish once you get the hang of it, so dw!

For what it's worth, the save'n'quit option seems to work super well and the UI is simple enough to pick things back up easily mid-run.

That challenge for u beating the game under 25 mins isnt 25 mins its only 25 mins while fighting the enemies and btw there are already guys who beated the game under 5 mins so yeah😅

You know on the rock attack you can be 1 square in front of him and not get hit

Not to be a smartass, Reto, but it is Japanese language, so I think I'm qualified to relay a little knowledge about it. So, anyway, Shogun (jp: 将軍, shougun) is read like show + goon, not Sho + Gun (firearm)
