Oh man we're slowly getting to that point of Ash finding out Giovanni in charge of Team Rocket with now knowing Team Rocket are the bad guys (Or getting there.). I really hoping Meowth stays good with Ash, and not go back to Team Rocket. Whoa Lance I wasn't expecting him to be introduce this early. Really good battle between Misty & Erika and Misty got a new Pokemon in Lotad, but wait Agent Erika that's a very interesting twist. Wait? Steven 🤔 Finally Charmeleon joins Ash's team, and has a new water pokemon in Poliwag. I wonder if it will become a Politoed in the end, because of the King's Rock? 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

This has been very well composed and narrated, It definitely corrects some of the issues present in the original series (namely Brock and Misty having no lives), and allows the children to act more like children, especially Gary Ritchie and Silver hanging around the three and getting teased and stuff. It was a cute image. Another good thing is that this story is presenting Ash with far more pressing issues than dealing with his own hubris and becoming the best, now he has forces acting to exaggerate his worst traits and diminish his best. I suspect and hope that the story doesn't lead to some cringe "Ash becomes evil" finale. Sure I suspect his character could be goaded into some heinous stuff (Ash letting his pokemon attack him violently is the exact kind of self destructive stuff I belief he could do) and he should definitely struggle against Team Rocket's worldview before his friends, Professor Oak and Lance reach out to him. If this whole sponsorship evokes the dark side of say child athletes and performers with the things it does to their mental health the story will only be more compelling. I'm glad Lance is in the story (Erika also being part of the government is a bit iffy I'll admit.) Pressing further down on what the Japanese government is doing in this world will be interesting as Team Rockets syndicate is one part poaching/animal abuse, and another part domestic terrorism, as the organization does have conquer the world ambitions. I hope that the story comes to ahead again when Mewtwo breaks out of Team Rocket Headquarters, I could believe Ash and Ritchie being sent to go defeat/retrieve it (maybe the others would follow them, maybe not) and letting a darker Mewtwo strikes back, where Ash realizes he's going along with something horrible, would be incredibly compelling. Last, last thing. Don't forget about Pikachu. I know that he and Ash didn't end up together, but that was a pokemon that was heading down a bad path before Ash proved that he could care about him. Remember Shudo's scrapped ending to the anime where Pokemon begin to revolt with Pikachu as their leader? It's a little far fetched, but I think if you set up a bit of that towards the end, or at least have pikachu involved in the Mewtwo strikes back plot, that you would have a very special moment in the story.

Ok honestly making ash stay the "good guy" and abandoning team rocket would be the easy way for u to write this story, I'm hoping u choose the interesting way and explore the slight evil part we saw against lance. heck u could even have him eventually go full villain and make Silver or richie be the one to take over as hero

Can't rush strength only find smart ways to more efficiently get to your destination but running or trying to run to fast not only will cause you to trip but you will run out of energy and possibly no longer have the ability to sprint and only nerf the speed you will go for a while rather than consistently walking. Even walking too long has its decays. PoliSWAG! Route 6. Imagining this as an anime is so cool as you would see such an interesting story unfold and such great lessons so early on which I feel is something that Pokémon has only really been able to show in recent times. Tours? The three. Razor! WHY IS HE HERE? Manga? But it was cool. Huh Silver? That's some interesting art. Oh I get it... What an interesting way of doing a tournament... HADGE? LAVARIDGE BOI!
