I think the alternate ending would have suited it better because in December 2016 there was a scene where aunt sal did a trick with her cards and the result was Roxy got death and Ronnie was going to live happily ever after. In the alternate ending, Roxy died from a drug overdose and Ronnie survived just like the fortune telling thing in 2016.

Oh my god, can I just say this video is absolutely amazing! Ok ok so, they faked their deaths. Jack told Ronnie it was either him or her. It was always gonna be roxy for her. As she said before anyone else it was them. Ronnie wasn’t going to let a man come beetween them again even if it was the love of her life. Roxy didn’t want to go through with it but Ronnie talked her round. Roxy decided Amy was better of with her dad, they waited a while before getting Charlie to go get ronnies son. Phil comes to visit all the time hence why he’s always on holiday.
