The one thing I have noticed about Ronnie Milsap is that in concert, his voice is the same as it is on his albums. He is one of the few artists that didn't need any "doctoring" on his musical albums. Pure talent.

Love the old Neil Diamond! Was soó disappointed in live concert in Tampa Florida! Didn't even sound like him. The band played so lou9 you couldn't hear him My favorite song from him is crackling Rose. I didn't even know he was singing that song till half way through

@@shellymills1991 Sorry you didn’t enjoy it…we were lucky to go to his 50th anniversary concert, and it was the absolute best! I have been to at least three of Neil’s concert, and the 50th was simply magical! Wish you could have experienced it too! 😊

IF HE WAS BORN 1-16-43 AND THIS WAS FROM 2002 HE IS ONLY 59 HERE, UNLESS THIS WAS RECORDED IN VERY EARLY JANUARY BEFORE HIS 59th BIRTHDAY......... !!! - JOHN DENVER IS MY FAVORITE ALL AROUND MALE ARTIST, CAUSE HE WROTE SO MANY GREAT SONGS AND SANG THEM SO WELL, BUT RONNIE MAY BE MY FAVORITE MALE VOCALIST, FLAWLESS VOCALS, HUGE RANGE, STRONG !!! CHECK OUT HIS HIGH NOTES AT 59 YEARS OLD IN THIS CONCERT, SEE IF YOU CAN SING ALONG AND KEEP UP WITH HIM ON "IT WAS ALMOST LIKE A SONG" 8:50 - HE IS PERFECT !!! I GOT THIS CONCERT ON CD FROM MY LOCAL LIBRARY, AND PUT THAT SONG ON MY CHANNEL, CAUSE I LOVE IT SO MUCH, SINCE IT IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS !!! STEVIE WONDER WROTE A LOT OF CLASSIC GREAT STUFF TOO, BUT I THINK RONNIE OUT SINGS BOTH JOHN AND STEVIE, AND MAY BE THE STRONGEST MALE COUNTRY VOCALIST OF ALL TIME !!! I CAN'T THINK OF ANY MALE COUNTRY SINGER WITH A STRONGER VOICE THAN RONNIE !!!

Sadly Kenny Rogers passed away less than 2 weeks ago. Kenny was probably in my top 5 country artists I loved to hear! Ronnie is aging as well and maybe around 80 years old. When Ronnie passes away, If I am still alive. A part of me will also die because since the early 1980's Ronnie Milsap inspired me to play the piano! I play what many would call "Elevator Music". But I love that type of music like I love Country music! Thank you Mr. Milsap for having such influence on a positive way in my life!

Does anyone notice? That Ronnie Milsap does not have lot of backup singers. . That is how good he is. . Ronnie Milsap can hit every note. He can hear every tone. Someone said that he was 60 years old in this concert. I can't see it. He sounds just as good as he's ever did. . Someone said he's 75-year.old now And still put on a hell of a show. I'm going to check it out after this concert. . Do you Know That Ronnie Milsap. Played on the recording for Suspicious Minds for Elvis Presley. Very true. You go Ronnie. Write a new song. Get put on the radio. There is nobody. I say there's nobody today on the radio that can hold a candle to Ronnie Milsap.

I saw him tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sadly, he has lost a lot in just the last few years. He is 78 now and it happens to everyone eventually. Tonight was not a great show. He even forgot the words to a couple of songs, including "Smoky Mountain Rain," although he doesn't have the benefit of teleprompter like most singers have these days. But I still loved seeing him again. He is one of the all-time greats.

@@AcesHighStudios I was supposed to see him about 2 years ago in Alexandria, La. on the ticket with Tracy Lawrence. It was changed at the last minute bc they said Ronnie was sick and couldn't perform. Instead, Joe Nichols filled in for him. I regret to this day that happening and not getting to see him. Had anyone else been on the ticket at the time I purchased it, I might not have bought them. Even if he would have struggled to sing and forgotten words, just getting to see him live would still have been awesome regardless. I could care less wether he would have sounded bad or not tbh. I just wanted to see him. We still had a great time, but it wasn't what I had hoped for. Wish I could have seen Ronnie, absolutely love this legendary performer! May God continue to bless him! And maybe I'll get another chance to see him someday soon. ❤️

@@Gambit22003 In 2017 I saw Kenny Rogers for the second time on his Farewell Tour and the fifth time overall. He wasn't good at all. He forgot the words to several songs despite having the teleprompter right in front of him, he actually yawned in the middle of singing Coward of the County (I mean yawned in the middle of actually singing), and there were a number of times that he was singing and literally no sound was coming out. He was clearly not in good health. But it was Kenny Rogers and I was in the same room with him watching him sing the songs I grew up with. If he had come out and just read the phone book, I would have still been elated, because I loved him so. Despite the concert not being good, I drove five hours the very next day to see him in concert again in a whole other state, because . . . again . . . it was Kenny. So I definitely understand how you feel.

All I remember from guy from when I was a kid was #1 hits. Truly one of the most unique voices in American history with the longest list of amazing tunes. Finding this is stunning. He sounds as great as he did in the late 70's. Nothing brings me as much joy as when I see someone who respects his gift from God to the degree that they simply never diminish, they keep it sharp. So many, for many reasons obviously, some understandably, simply lose it when they hit a certain age, but this is truly mindblowing! What a legit National Treasure this guy is WOW!!!!!

When I reach the end of my days I'll listen to the music I've loved for so long, Ronnie's music will be at the top of my list, I can't think of a better wat to go than listening to Ronnie as I drift away. Ronnie is sixty years old here and his voice is still amazing!!

I love that his voice is true and there is no Auto-Tune that is used so frequently in the music world now. I am not a country music fan, but I make an exception for Ronnie Milsap and his fabulous voice.

And his voice. Loud, clear, clean, and pure. Always the same quality as the recording. I don't know of anyone else who can do that without some tech wizardry.

There is something incredibly soothing about Ronnie’s voice. It just kinda feels like home. Growing up in the 80’s, his songs are the soundtrack to my childhood.

He is a true talent and musician. I am a comic and at the end if my show I always play "I wouldn't Have Missed It for The World ", while dedicating my show to my gramma. I love Ronnie Milsaps music and he seems like a genuinely awsome person. Would love to meet him .

@@Sabercats12 Yes, very true. I've listened to him since I was 9 or 10; even have one of his R and B tapes from before his country era. While everyone else was listening to New Kids on the Block, I was listening to R.M. :) One of the most underrated performers ever.
