Rest in Peace Joyce. You definitely made a difference in his life

The ACM gave this legend the recognition he deserved in 2002 and yet Ronnie had to wait till 2014 to see the hall of fame AFTER Brooks and Strait got in before him! This man deserves so much more attention that he has gotten from Nashville and the media in the last 20 years. Ronnie is the most versatile and talented artist in all of country music with a vocal ability and musical range far beyond other Nashville superstars.

Ladies and Gentlemen...by far the finest moment in the history of "modern country music". Here we are 11 years later and the hall of fame still can't get their heads out of their fannies to give a legend his due! RONNIE MILSAP is the greatest singer to ever hit Nashville with more class and talent than today's country puppets put together. Keep on keeping on Ronnie Lee!

Well their appealing to the younger people now so those younger people can change all melodies of what we remember country music used to be. When their all gone, so is true country music. But hey that's my opinion, and like always, it's wrong and unwanted. lol. I try to recapture their styles, but even I can't seem to find it. Oh well. Everything we all used to love is ancient history now. Goodbye great world.

Many years ago, I met Todd after his dad's concert and was going to meet Ronnie, but they were in a hurry and had to get packed up to go to another city. So, a month later after another concert that was in Ohio..I asked Todd if I could meet his dad? He told security that we (me and my ex bf) was to go through. But, several of his online chat fans was there and clung to the back of our feet and went in too..lol. There was a meet and greet with a lot of Doctors and stuff. (The concert was a benefit for a hospital) I met Ronnie and hugged him..I had a picture, but when my pc crashed years later, I lost it. I use to sing his songs with the radio, holding my mommy's hairbrush on the bed before I even knew who he was. I was really young because it was before my parents died. I have met a lot of famous people and it was great..But, Meeting Ronnie was something on a whole different level!!! I listen to him singing on the Gaither Music Show along with many fantastic singers..As I only listen to Christian music now. I love Ronnie's music and always will remember him fondly!!!

For those who don't want to hear anyone besides Ronnie sing "What a Difference You've Made in my Life," you can mute it until the brief cover is over. @Bloozedaddy76 I agree; Ronnie made huge impact on the country music world that was unprecedented and is still felt today; modern country stars all over sing his praises and mention him as an influence. He opened doors for many things that before him were completely frowned upon. Long live the King of Country-Pop Ronnie Milsap!

Cont. I at least like many artists over the decades; primarily older, with a # of newer ones. I listen to country, rhythm & blues, soul, jazz, blues, gospel, classical, some adult contemporary, a little bit of rock & pop each, etc. until you get to reggae, metal, hip-hop, & post-'70s dance. I'm not as close-minded as I made myself out to be somehow; they did sound sincere, though that's not enough for everyone. (To self: The problems w/ miswordings; that's the 2nd time, get your act together!)

*Facepalms* First, I said "FOR THOSE WHO don't want to anyone besides Ronnie sing "What a Difference You've Made in my Life..." I said nothing about not wanting to hear it. Second, I recognize that they were doing that and that's OK. The problem is that not everyone wants to hear them singing it, but rather would view it as butchering it. Third, I actually like Joe Diffie (for the most part). Just because most of my comments were for clips of Ronnie & Charlie doesn't mean they're all I enjoy.
