Ronnie's break 92 at 2012 final is one of the best breaks in snooker history

The undoubted highlight of the 2012 World Snooker Championship. Ronnie beat three former world champions, Neil Robertson being the most recent, the best overseas player I have seen. I must not mention Ding Junhui as well. Then Matthew Stevens in the semi final, runner up in two previous finals. And then Ali Carter who beat Judd Trump in the semi final. It is easy to forget that the latter showed some consistency since 2011. I remember he lost to Rory Mcleod one year. In the 2012 final, it was deja vu, Ronnie repeated the feat.

@@uhegbu in that tournament Neil Robertson was the man to beat. After Ronnie managed to win that match i was pretty sure he was going to win the title. He was almost unplayable !

O'Sullivan was so good that 6 world titles is an underachievement because he should have won at least 10.

If Ronnie had Dr Steve Peters since the beginning of his career he would have easily won 10 world titles, 10 masters and 10 British championships.

Simply the greatest 20 majors 37 ranking titles the most premier leagues the most centuries and 147s keeping hendry Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding trump now Wilson to name a few at bay entertaining us for decades keeping snooker afloat in the most competitive era ever keeping sponsors happy and viewing figures up all on his own terms never been a slave to the game or politically perfect........ Waisted 9 years of his career partying due to lack of discipline and appetite and still has these numbers👌his longevity like his achievements are legendary only last year at 43 he wins the inaugural coral series to return to world number 1 🤔and now at 44 he's the world champion again for the 6th time in a format that does not suit him...... His aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines, he owns the shanghai masters and the champion of champions a tournament designed with Ronnie in mind....... He's the governor the player the pundit the Billygoat the brand 👌🙏

So true about Ronnie wasting so many years, when he was partying, then suffering depression, which is an illness that I think he has mostly conquered, but is still working on. If he hadn't been partying those years,I believe, with his amazing talent,he could have won more world's, more masters and U.K.s, he would be way out of sight of the rest of the snooker greats, but he's still competing, very well, who knows what he could win in the next 2 or 3 years.

Thanks for this 👍 Matthew Stephens' clearance to bring it to 5-5 in the semi was brilliant! And then Ronnie wins the next five! 😊 And of course Ronnie's 92 break to bring it to 4-3 in the Final. 🔥

You show the first 3 or 4 shots of the frame and then the very end of the frame when he is far enough ahead that he can't lose. No drama at all! I mean, I know, obviously that he wins every match. However, you don't show any of the middle of the frames. You might as well just show graphics of every match showing us what the score of every frame was against every opponent. You sure as hell aren't showing us much Snooker.

Ronnie seemed to be messing about in the Robertson match, you can see the difference in both player now, Robertson being much better all round.

Worst case scenario Ebdon should be made to play with a shot clock.... best case scenario just ban him from playing because his slowness is cheating in my book, in one instance he scored 11 or 12 in the same time as Ronnie scored 147 ...so end him or mend him, he walks to the table and he knows what shot he is going to make but he faffs around mentally torturing his opponents and its crap !!
