Have a look on the website, it explains it very well. Basically there are 7 groups of 7 players and they play a round robin, the top 4 in each group go to a play off and then the 7 winners play a round robin then a play off

Higgins is great competition but Ronnie seems a little bored with the game. I guess he has won everything so many times it has become routine and lacks the excitement any more. He is still very good though, but not with the fire he had before 2018.
