Popular monster is a song about depression using a werewolf as a metaphor for feeling alienated, monsterous and dangerous. werewolf is about hiding a darker part of you from the one you love. I see similarities in the videos, but there are other videos before both of them with similarities. Imitation is a sign of someone liking you and what you do. I am constantly being influenced by others, but also come up with things by myself. I do subconsciously copy elements from others. For example if you revisit old pinterest boards years later you often find you bought similar stuff without the realisation of it. However I understand how annoying it is when others take credit for something you did first.

Hot take.. actually no its not even that: Nobody ripped off anyone and I have no idea why they would think that.. none of these bands invented the werewolf and I love all those bands, so it makes no sense to say "its a ripoff". Motionless in Whites song doesn't even resemble Popular Monster in the slightest. The only thing that I would agree on, is that both songs put more emphasis on trying something different out for the bands, even though Falling in Reverse already did rap stuff for a long time at that point. I think Ronnie is a smart and talented dude, but him calling people out on "ripping off" stuff just makes him look bad, its stupid. It was the same with the word "Reimagined" when he had that dispute with I Prevail. Why even start this? I mean I am only now seeing this, but I hope he saw that its a little ridiculous and that he at least took back the statement, Ronnie is better than this. Also the "movie poster thing" is literally something INK did before all those bands, so it might be more inspired by them, especially because Motionless in White's thing looks more like INKs, than anything else, but what do I know.

It’s about the person/people behind the gig that gets interest. Lots of people like Ronnie and lots of people like Chris. Some like both. Just depends of what you’re into. It is probably the record label that pushes a lot of this stuff sometimes like he mentioned. The industry is a surprisingly small space

As a bigger fan of motionless in white than falling in reverse, I really don't know what to say about this. I mean they WERE paying tribute To Michael Jackson in the movie posters, but the steampunk think idk. I mean tons of people have done steampunk it's not something Ronnie created or anything, but I do understand what he's saying. I just don't agree with what Ronnie Is saying both albums and cinema Are great! I think that this shouldn't be such a big thing. I love Chris. I love Falling In Reverse. I highly doubt Chris would blatantly rip off FIR. But I really don't know, so I'm not gonna say much else. I'm not siding with either even considering I love motionless a good Amount more, but I think Ronnie's argument is a little more left field. At the end of the day as Ronnie even stated, people say and do Crazy ass stuff sometimes but their only human, everyone will make mistakes and everyone should try their best to fix them. And at the end of the day, they're both great people, I love em both. And also bands follow trends all the time how many bands do the Blegh????

INK is doing original image, indpendent from other bands. MIW is copying FIR's imagery sometimes. that's what it's all about.

I like Ronnie’s music, but his whole “I was doing this when no one else in the world was” is petty. A lot of the times the band’s P&R team is responsible for the advertising and the band will approve of it, so I really think Ronnie boy is giving himself too much credit.
