Bad boy thing explained: Bad boys usually show a lot of masculine traits such as confidence, strength, fearlessness. these traits are easy to pick up therefore girls originally become interested. But when getting to know the person you realize that the traits are either not rooted in something healthy (the confidence comes from narcist mentality), are extreme (they adrenaline addicts) or there is lack of any feminine traits (taking care of the other person, nurturing and so on) hence women fall out of with these men and the interest is not long term.

Girls can definitely tell. My husband and I were in a long distance relationship when we first started dating, he was friends w/ two different girls at school. I met them both on separate occasions and they gave off different energy. One was perfectly fine and she clearly was just there to be a good friend, the other one was ready to pounce on my then boyfriend. Women can absolutely pick up on the two different energies.

I think so too! & hope your period pain gets better over time! Mine is so weird, I used to never get bad pain. Now my period is almost every day of the month, it’s like I have 5 days without vs 5 days with and it is so incredibly painful now. Always cuddled up with my heating pad. Women’s bodies are crazy!

Let me deep dive on the "what do you want to eat" question 😂 Either I am worried about how the other person will respond (what if they do not like my suggestion, what if they already had a place in mind, etc.) or my brain will freeze because I was not even thinking about food... then I literally cannot think of a place to eat 😅 I ask for some ideas instead of "what sounds good to you" so they do not have to end up choosing again... also, the people around me know how I am, so to take the pressure off (because they know I am sensitive and do not want to disappoint them) and give my brain a chance to catch up they ask like this: "I was thinking we could eat soon - I am headed to the bathroom, so think about it and let me know when I get back" or they give me some ideas and because they said it first I know they are alright with whatever I choose 😊 It comes down to mild social anxiety and major overthinking for me!!!

On the making the first move thing- I think there’s a (potentially true) stereotype that guys are more “desperate” for relationships, so like she said, when a guy makes the first move it’s more obvious that they actually want YOU. If a girl made the first move and the guy said yes, I think many of us wonder thing like- did he just agree because I showed interest, or does he actually like me for who I am? Did he accept me because he’s desperate and thinks I’m “out of his league” and wants to jump on the chance? Or did he already want me because he genuinely likes me as a person? Would he have said yes to just any girl? Or would he have personally picked me if given the chance? I feel like girls are more likely to say “no” when they mean no and “yes” when they mean yes and we have a fear that guys will just say “yes” either way (as long as the girl isn’t “ugly”) and that doesn’t always feel genuine. It’s almost like we lose our chance to know for sure if we make the first move.

My boyfriend and i were best friends for years till we got together, we are now seniors and the two year mark is in two weeks! To this day he still doesn’t let me open my own car door or a regular door, he doesn’t let me pay for things i really want and he will never walk with me without holding my hand at some point and lightly guiding me with his hand on my back. I absolutely love it and feel so loved. But when i am upset and he does it, it goes one of two ways. Calms me, or pisses me off even more. I explained it to my husband this way. He can have girl friends as long as he isn’t closer to them than he is to me and he doesn’t discuss our relationship issues with them. For example, we live together and we are married, if he talks to her more in a week then he does me then I find that less okay because if we live together we should both be making an effort to communicate throughout the day and night. It makes me feel a little jealous because he seems closer to that female friend then he does me at the moment. The other reasoning being you should just never confide in someone of the opposite gender about your marriage. You should always go to your spouse but if you need to vent to someone else you should only do so to a friend of your gender, it’s just more respectful. If you confide in your friend of the opposite gender about relationship issues it could make them think that there is a way in or that they could potentially someday have you if the relationship is rocky. My husband having friends of the opposite gender is fine as long as I remain his BEST friend and he continues to confide in me more than he does them.

In high school if I was ever asked what my type was by friends or whatever I'd always say I didn't have a type (physically) because I didn't want to have a typical answer or whatever but as I've gotten older I realized my type (physically) is tall dark and handsome and physically fit but not overly lol. My type for personality has always been a genuine, sweet, kind, passionate, good communicator and listener, empathetic etc. guy. Personality traits also go for friends for me as well.
