Honestly, the lyrics are deeply spiritual. If the "You are the calm before the storm" and also "during the storm" and "every other time" refers to Jesus Christ, then the song describes my point of view perfectly. Thank you for saving me, Jesus.

festivals and drops, the worst things that happened to music in the last 2000 years, fortunately they're going to die like brostep did and then we can have finally a return to creativity, musical freedom and variety instead of this cookie cutter sounds and stupid tracks with 30 seconds rhythm and 3 minutes pop-ballads you can't even dance to

In no genre you have absolute creativity. Every genre has a formula that defines it, and can be changed more or less. If the formula is changed too much, the new genre is born. Not having a drop doesn't make you more creative (eg. listen to minimal techno track: same beat during the entire song with a little tweaks - probably the most uncreative genre ever), nor it makes genre last longer (take a look at classic trance: lasted very short, because the tracks sounded the same). In order to make a genre 'alive' it must evolve and innovate - and 'drops' are 'new' thing. No reason, to be upset, if you don't like drops, they will soon become less popular and new something will replace it. Trance has always been about emotions - and quality vocal singing during a break is effective way to make a track more emotional and after the break, you can dance. And also, non-dance tracks are usually more creative than dance tracks (techno, house, hard dance genres, also dnb...) because you are not limited to same predictable beat during whole track.
