Shoutout to Ron! Won one of leagues with all my starters in the championship game being players I drafted. A lot of it due to Ron’s videos in the off season! Nabers fell deep to me snagged achane above adp grabbed Bucky Irving late and Brian Thomas Jr and got lucky with McBride at the perfect spot

thanks for all the great insight all year man. Every fantasy year, I always go on a little pre draft information bender a week before. Specifically for sleepers. Since I discovered you, I hit on Achane/Laporta last year, and Chase Brown/Bowers this year. Wouldn''t have even heard of a couple of those guys names if I didn't stumble across your KZbin channel. Now im back to back champs in my home league, and 3 in 4 years. Can't wait to watch next year

Hey Ron, been following you this entire season, and I can confidently say that this has been my best season of FF ever. I was in 8 leagues, and after following your draft advice and waiver wire grabs, ended with six 1st place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. Legit the only L I'd say was grabbing Breece in any league he was available, but outside of that, solid teams all around. Thanks again for your service 💪

I think it's important not to overcorrect as well. I remember doing my first best ball draft of the year and was absolutely shocked at how low RBs were going, in fact on underdog which was half ppr, RBs were going even lower than on draftkings, which was full PPR. I should have trusted my instinct and realized there was huge systemic error in ADPs especially on underdog. Another factor to consider is the strength of the rookie WR class. I have a feeling that the structure of the championship teams would have looked a LOT different if Nabers/BTJ/Bowers/JSN didn't exist. There was simply a TON of depth at WR in rounds 7-12, which allowed teams that hammered dead zone RBs to thrive, and it will be interesting to see how this plays out moving forward. So I guess the takeaway is that you need to look at the draft as a whole and not only rely on projections. Rather than do it on a player by player basis, what errors in structuring can we take advantage of to win next year? For example, if this rookie RB class is as strong as they say (looking a bit weaker now that Singleton/Allen both opted out), I think people overcorrecting to RB early heavy this year will be severely punished, as I believe there will be huge RB depth in the middle rounds. Based on that, we should be looking for values at WR, QB, and TE early, and then hammering RB in the middle rounds. Also good point about the faceplanters. I wonder if there is similar data with late round rookies this year. I feel like I drafted way too many late round rookies hoping to find the next Puka and ended up fading guys like Mooney, Jeudy, etc.

Im drafting with a whole new strategy next year. Many players were getting drafted much earlier than I anticipated (2 rds early) so Im just going for the players I want , not just who’s available. Missed out on easy picks thinking they’d still be around.
@fleckbigsby54326 күн бұрын
I won my very sharp 12 man full PPR league FROM THE 1.11 with a double hero RB this year, and that was with the Rice injury. Wanted to go heavier on WR but just didn't have the picks and it worked out.
@timholstad272311 күн бұрын
I really do think a big lesson for me in redraft is to make bets on offenses when talent is similar. We took Saquon after Breece and JT, even though we knew the Eagles offense was much better on paper than the Colts or Jets. I’m going to start putting more stock into projected offenses, and use it as a tie breaker when talent is similar between two picks. Especially in the early rounds where there’s so many great players and it’s more about not screwing up than about finding a league winner.
@stevansmith958215 күн бұрын
Drafting Mahomes and Stroud in the 5th and 4th round in my 10 and 12 man league, thinking with the additions of Diggs, Worthy, Hollywood Brown and thinking they would be better this year with airing out the ball or, being better in general with his offense around them.

@Pratik.C.Ray8815 күн бұрын
Seems like the meta shifted a bit. You really lucked out up top if you went smashed 1 to 2 elite WRs and if you got lucky on elite rookie WRs. Near the end of the season I had Garrett Wilson in his poverty era. Luckily I had Chase, Nabers, with Bowers, Chase Brown, Bucky Irving and Achane

I've always been a fan of having sturdy top 15 RB with a decent line and nobody will be able to stop you even with terrible receivers. Play action is the only way to win by passing consistently. you gotta make a defense fear your consistent (doesn't have to be amazing) run game. That's the only way a modern defense is pulling out of coverage plays

The wr's falling off the top 10 points is because the NFL defense is evolving to stop the pass and make them beat you running. Cover two and similar coverages are forcing teams to run.

Defensive coordinators in the NFL are just not gonna give up the big play going forward. They all going to keep playing two high safety and make you march the length of the field. RBs are back and here to stay.
