आदरनीय रोनू दादा का जिस घर मे जन्म हुआ ठीक सामने वाले घर मे मै रहता हूँ। जिस महान गुरू भोला नाथ जी से बांसुरी की शिक्षा रोनू दा ने प्राप्त किया उसी घर से मैं भी शिक्षा ग्रहण कर रहा हूँ । आज भी रोनू दा के पिता जी के हाथ से बनाया गया उनके गुरू की तस्वीर मै रोज देखता हूँ क्योकि उनके पिता एक प्रतिभाशाली कलाकार थे। मेरा सैभाग्य है जो मेरा जन्म इस जगह हुआ।

आप को मेरा सादर प्रणाम ये सब उन दिनो की बात है जब मेरा जन्म भी नहीं हुआ था किन्तु गुरू पं राजेन्द्र प्रसन्ना एवं सुनील प्रसन्ना जी से शिक्षा ग्रहण के दौरान ये सुनने को मिला था कि उन्होने भोला नाथ जी से तालीम ली है अब ये कितना सत्य है वो गुरु पं रोणु जी ही बता सकते है। एक प्रतिभाशाली शिष्य के अनेक गुरु होते है वो बात अलग है कि शिष्य ने गुरू एक ही माना हो क्योकि ज्ञान हमे जिन जिन गुरु से मिलते है वो गुरु के श्रेणि मे ही आते । मुझसे यदि फिर भी कोई गलती हुई हो तो क्षमा योग्य की उम्मीद करता हूँ। ।।प्रणाम।।

I love Ronuji's performances and try to go to all of them in Pune. I love his performances with Pt. Arvind Kumar Azadji. One thing i loved about this video was that it ended with Dhamar. For me, Dhamar is the King of Taals and Pt. Kishan Maharaj ji, King of Tabla, played it with absolute command.

I don’t know about others but tears rolled down my eyes when I saw panditji talking to people of ghasiyaritola about the old peepul tree and the open garden. Also when he went to the house where he was born where another bengali family was staying - he said “abaar ak bangali thakchhe”. I don’t know how many of you got it but what i got it here is the happiness in the eyes of panditji that someone belonging to his mother tongue is there - that way probably he feels rooted again. It is always so nice to see when we look for our roots it moves you from within. Also loved the way the people helped him in searching the house - that tells about the immensely lovely and friendly nature of banaras - यही बनारसीपना है , खुले दिल से अपनाना और शायद पण्डित रोनु जी यही miss करते हैं🙏
