Roof Inspection on a 2009 Allegro Bus: What Did I Find?

I had a viewer reach out to me awhile back asking for a Pre-sale inspection. Unfortunately, life threw us all curveballs, and everything went sideways. As I could not arrange my schedule to inspect before the sale, they risked everything and bought it first. So today, I am able to finally do the inspection and because I happened to be at Cassone's RV just adjacent to Mesa Spirit RV Resort, I was able to do the roof inspection quickly and figured we could all use a quick roof inspection video. They did give me permission, and could not be nicer people, so please be kind in comments.

I learn so much by watching your videos James. Firstly I will never ever buy an RV without having a full inspection preferably by you. I’m hoping that the owners will ask you to clean under the tops you lifted. I don’t think anything should be left to chance especially when you are aware of the situation. I would have loved to have a peek inside but I guess it’s not possible. Thanks again for your insight into the maintenance that every RV should undergo at least annually if not more. James I have owned my 2010 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP for around 3 months now. The roof really looked great shape when I purchased it. I love the layout of our motorhome 1 1/2 bath rear bath as well. Aqua-Hot 400DE . I have had to replaced all the batteries house and engine as well. This motorhome does not use Def as well. I like the electrical shades on most of the windows. I feel like I somewhat living in a house with all the options it comes with. Plus I got it finance before rates went up.

That 2009 Allegro Bus looked solid. Good explanation of the expected roof float with the Tiffin one piece gel coat. Mine moves just a tiny bit so I was concerned. Worry no more. 😎👍 I hope you like the 2015 Allegro Bus as well since I bought one 🤔 Have learned a lot about the importance of a thorough roof inspection. ty

I seen that brown dust on my 1996 fleetwood discovery all on top and baggage area from New Mexico were I drove back to Texas with a blow out on back tire inside were previous owner said was new but was 2010 a 1000.00 on the side of road adventure but 4 tires out of 6 were new can't believe what your told.

the Winegard base mount distributes the weight better I dont have the antenna anymore as I took it off but have a KVH mounted there...$5000 of new awnings and they should be good for the roof how did the interior go? and chassis?

often it's used to prevent damage to the roof from the LNB arm roller but it's still rare on a fiberglass roof from my experience. It's a nice unit. Very unique with factory installed custom features.

Not just roof, always check and maintain WINDOW SEALS. Just as important than roof, and wall leaks are much more sinister and destructive than roof ones

That title is not one that will make you say...ow I need to watch this video...the roof of an rv is important..yet most normies like me arent going to Q up this video with antisipation because of the title...I am sure there are other aspects of this RV that would bring in viewers..but roof inspection aint my go to for entertainment and RV info

I can’t believe all seams and joints on that roof-wow! Too much maintenance. Tiffin didn’t help with that warranty fix either, but what else could they have done. Are they still made with all those joints and seams?
