Young lady, you do awesome work. I'm not a professional roofer but I have done my share of shingle roofs in my 35 years as a home owner and helping others. Having done my share of roofing, I know how rough on the body it can be. I wish you many years of safe and happy roofing. I am 62 and I am sure I'll end up back on a roof again in the future.

I've never seen a woman roofer either, I am a residential painter and have been painting and drywalling for over 20 years like I just commented, I've worked on women painting crews and the ones I worked with were and are totally bad ass and work hard, have great work ethics and good moral and highly experienced. I'm still friends with the one's who've ended their careers and do other things now.

The outfit that did my neighbors roof had a woman roofer. She did the job very well. If someone can do it and wants to do the job then it doesn't matter if they're male or female.

Stole my heart when she hammered down that high nail. Best to open several bundles at once, use a little from all at same time, shuffle up materials. Helps avoid crecker board patterns, when viewing from the street, if one bundle is slightly off in color.

My Dad was a roofer he had his company he started very young unfortunately he passed away in his early forties I was just a tiny little girl but I know that if he was still alive I would have run his company and I would have been up there as proud as I could be doing roofs I admire you you're an amazing young lady thank you for sharing.

Her spacing sucks. The first two are ok but squeezes the last 4 in with a 1- 3 inch spacing. Why not space evenly if you're set on shooting 6?

It's almost impossible to high nail owens though I mean get most of them there. I can get 15 sq on a day so I'm pretty good I haven't had a nail showing or had to rip a shingle off in 2 weeks.

Awesome! You got skills! You would be an asset to my Team. You have solid Techniques with your own style. My only suggestion is to completely cover or go over the peaks of the ridge with your base paper. Also, it not bad to start using your fall harness at all times. You will learn how to be very efficient even while wearing it. Bravo!

Nice, should 6 nail starter on fascia for wind damage unless gutters are being installed. In your case gutters are on you did nice job. Brought up this for people roofing with out gutters.

I seen those IKO shingles in Phx Az. And the supplier where I have an account buys those damaged ones from Canada as seconds. Faded colors laminates not proper or just stuck together. anyway those shingles in your video look like they are in better shape. I could be wrong but I installed the same color shingles before. I think they were called wood blend. Anyway looks like you know hoe to install and if you can shingle roofs like that all day 5 days a weeks at that pace. You are absolutely a wonder woman shingler. She said she would finish nailing the shingles that were at the beginning that she did half on but I did not see her finish nailing original shingles. I also saw there were areas of OSB or plywood not covered by protective underlayment.

The only thing I have to say is only put a nail in each end of your starter or eventually your going to have a nail line up with the end of the shingle. A potential leak that you don't need plus you save a few nails too.

That's so awesome, my mom when she was alive loved taking care of sick and elderly people and worked very hard and had phenomenal work ethic and took care of our family and home, I'll never forget my mom and the things she accomplished and taught us kids , my dad also had great work ethics but mom, she was tougher than nail!

I live in Montana and we also have to do 6 nails on our shingles. I've been roofing for 20 years and I've never held the shingle over the metal 3/4". Is that better for the water to flow into the gutter? Was just wondering the reason for that so I can use that method if it is better. Great video!
