Hey Max, Great summary. I run a similar set up 3.7 Nomad HS with 20HP Suzuki on my Trackabout roof rack. I’ve caved to the wife and just last week started look into rod holders and the ones you are useing look spot on. I run a second slide inside the boat for the transducer to store when travelling. Hang in there they definitely catch fish! Also who did your Bimini Id love to get that set up! Look forward to some more content mate. Cheers

@herewearewithdas3174 great thinking with the internal mount, the railblaza gear is solid as and highly recommended it plus easy birthday gifts. Maroochy Marine covers did the bimini.

Tell us more on the transducer mount and bracket? where did you get that from? And also who did the Bimini set up? Thanks Champ :)

Sorry for the late reply, but it's an Easterner adjustable transducer bracket, i've then just put a p-clip on the internal extrusion. Try Whitworth's for all accessories, as for the Bimini that was done by Maroochy Marine Covers.

Hey mate, I need your opinion. Ive been tossing up whether to get the 3.5 or 3.7 going to be towing on a boat trailer. Assuming that you've had something to do with the 3.7m. Is there much difference in the stability ie. Standing, moving around in the boat. and handling on the water through some chop when it blows up a bit? I'm thinking of going the 3.5 for weight and ease of lanching and retreaving (beach launching) and more so 15hp four stroke for fuel wise while travelling. Predominantly, only me and sometimes one other adult. By the way, nice overview of your setup.

Thanks, I would hands down always go as big as you can, if I could handle the weight of the 3.7 I would have gone that route. The 3.5 is great stability so the 3.7 is going to be better again and as for launching if you have the trailer going to be a piece of cake, i've got the tinny wheels which do bog down in the sand very quick. Check around with dealers on the 20hp if going new as alot of the time price difference is minimal and the weights are the same.

Hey mate. What sought of composite board did you use on your floor and casting deck and where did you get it from please. The boat looks smick.

We used the Thermolite 15mm, was ab le to get the whole boat done off just one sheet. I just ordered it online will be your best bet.

@@VirginVanning Thank you very much for that. I will do the same.

Any thoughts on how the boat would perform with a 9.9 4 stroke?
@VirginVanning6 ай бұрын
The 4-stroke will sacrifice some holeshot but will gain better top end, will still be a slug with 2 or more people that's were i would recommend going the 15 as weight difference is only about 6kg difference.
