Besides sliding in, seating the heat exchanger and screwing it, what else happened during the replacement? Did you add any adhesive or sealant of some type?

Sorry, I can’t video absolutely everything. Heat exchangers came with new factory gaskets and we were able to get a tight seal with that and a bead of high temp silicon.

Happy to be learning from you! The rooftop maintenances/repairs are fun to watch because I’m unfamiliar with them and I’ve never replaced a heat exchanger before so figured I’d try to learn more. Next time you replace one I’d be intrigued to see the gasket and sealant parts.
