For years I was in a dark place. I had no motivation to do anything, could barely even drag myself out of bed. And when (if) I finally got out I would just sit around for hours, thinking nothing but negative thoughts. I hated myself, and I seriously thought of doing self-harm on more than one occasion. And I hated God too, I blamed him for all the problems in my life. But then this song came to me while I was one day browsing the web. This song, and many other songs from Hillsong Worship, helped me into the Light again. Sometimes we must stop thinking about all the things that have gone wrong in our lives, and remember all the good things He has done for us on so many occasions. If we dwell too much on our sins they will only weigh us down, and after sometime it becomes really tiring. Thus, we must remember that God is sitting up in Heaven waiting for us to come to Him for help. We should stop relying on our own strength all the time and turn to Him. Jesus carried the weight of all our sins when He died on the cross for us. God is omnibenevolent and He is always willing to forgive you, just ask Him. Nobody is ever unworthy of His love, remember that. No matter what we do, He still loves us all the same. There is no problem that is too hard for Him to solve, and no sin too great to forgive. He is the Almighty God and He has the power to help you, just ask Him!

I was thinking of one of my favorite doctors I use to say daily in the hospital. Such a kind and caring man. He is Muslim. He wanted a plaque I had purchased for my boss. It was about God's love. I asked him if he believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He stated, "yes." I left it at that. Today, I don't see him due to hospitalist now taking the primary doctor's place in the hospital setting. But, I was thinking about him for some strange reason. I pray he is doing well. Pray for all persons that we encounter on a daily basis that may not be saved. The end is so near and God is waiting for just one more person to receive Jesus Christ, His son as their personal Savior. God loves us as we would never imagine.

I started listening to this song. As the praise went on, the grief and sorrow in my heart was as if it literally lifted up and left my chest then I felt a sudden warmth mixed with Joy over my heart. I began crying because I know how good and faithful the Lord Jesus has been to me even though I am living in secret sin. You see, I am a backslidden Christian who is coming back home (to Jesus Christ). I have been addicted over masturbation and pornography for about 5 years but I always have this pull in my heart to return to Christ and repent. I can tell you truly that the Holy Spirit does not give up so easily. God has been so good to me to not let go of me all this 5 years and still keep calling me constantly. In my life now, I thank God that he has given me strength to even read his Word and to learn about Jesus and fall in love with Him all over again.
