Dan Smith realized sponsoring an adult men’s softball team was the lamest thing in the world.

Back in the early 2000's, the tax rules changed and suddenly all the big sponsors who used softball teams couldn't write them off and it killed the majors for awhile. The big sponsors took their money and went home, or at least that was what I was told.

He's hitting .674 against the best teams in the country, has 27 HR's, 111 RBI's, and has several defensive tournament MVP's with that "mediocre glove" of his. That could be why.

I was going to say, the videos I've watched, it looks like he dropped some weight and is getting to balls he wasn't in the past couple of years. If he got a haircut, he'd lose 20 more lbs and be able to cover the whole left side of the infield 😂
