Mike Joy needs to retire. He was never great but now he stumbles over everything. Smoke is great, he only speaks when he has something interesting to say. Sometimes it's nice when they STFU and let us watch and listen to the race. Bowyer is fine but he seems like he didn't know how to deal with Tony and Mike staying quiet. Seemed a little awkward at times.

Austin Cindric became the SECOND rookie to win the Daytona 500. Trevor Bayne was the first to do so in 2011, but he was not running for Cup points, wasn't running Cup full-time, wasn't running for Rookie of the Year, and earned 0 driver points, but 47 owner points for the Wood Brothers. Austin Cindric was the second to so in 2022, but he ran full-time in Cup, going for Cup points, and was running for Rookie of the Year (which he obviously won). He almost swept Daytona in August, but Austin Dillon knocked him out of the way (nearly wrecked him) with 5 laps to go. Bayne, I count as a rookie because he had the yellow stripe on the back of his #21, and two cars with yellow stripes on the back have won it now. Bayne did it in his first try, Cindric his second (in 2021 he was driving the #33).

Hi there: There's almost no line in NASCAR. You'd need to go VERY far to get a suspended (like wrecking the leader on purpose as a lapped car).
