Currently in PSD on day 4 in Springfield as well... Haven't been able to hook up to a trailer or back up once yet... Been a lot of ice and snow everywhere we have been and we have mainly only shuttled from Aurora and back to Springfield. Hopefully I will get my chance to do some backing and when I do I hope I am half as good as he is

To keep one of those wackos from pulling my trailer release. When i parked i would set the trailer brake then ease off the clutch to apply tension then set my tractor brakes. The trailer release cant be pulled that way . Iam enjoying the videos ,jam up job 👍

I finally moved out of Florida just to join Prime Inc. unfortunately i got to change my license and redo the permit exam all over again. Found a part time job in the mean time.

The reflective tape I think it can be missing something ridiculous like 25% or some crap lol I always told my students when I trained with another company to drive the trailer, not the tractor when backing it seemed to help them understand better idk if you do the same thing or not.

But it’s really cool getting to watch and learn techniques while I eat a meal I know it’s not the same as being in the cab but it’s pretty damn close. Hey man hope all is well, I applied to Prime but I do have a question, I got a call from a recruiter, initially we had a conversation I lss she said she was going to have me signed up for orientation in May, the next day I got a call from the recruiter saying that all spots were full and she will keep me in mind for when I the next spot opens up, is this common or was I getting jerked around?
