I know and yet they built the Iona and Arvia the same !! We booked it purely to see if it really was that bad. Thankyou for commenting and watching

Having stayed in one, no one mentions the issue at night: the glass around the outside of the deck turns into a mirror, restricting your view out.

Hi John & Lisa It's a nice room, but the layout is rather strange. Personally, I wouldn't like the balcony being so exposed. My pet hate is poor housekeeping, balcony cleanliness, and empty wrappers in the drawer is not acceptable. I'm sure if you send them an email they will compensate you. Great video and informative, as always, mate 👍

Many thanks for watching. Always great to hear from you. I wasn't at all happy with the cleanliness of the room and I edited out most of my disgust. However they did put it right and couldn't do more for me. Plus champagne and choccies with Lisa loved. I didn't get a look in lol.

Did you get priority boarding and the welcome lunch with your booking? Do you think a mini suite on deck 9 would suit you better with its more traditional balcony.

Hi. Yes we did get priority boarding at 12.00 midday and received the complimentary lunch. It wasnt anything special but a little better than Horizons. I think Deck 9 is better, deck 8 is very convenient for the bar and restaurants. So if you want to nip out to grab a drink 😂. Thankyou so much for watching and commenting​@lindseychapman3801
