Whenever I enter a room and there's a strange, unnatural wind, I just blame it on the other guy.

Just wanted to let you know that you have completely inspired someone to not only play d&d but also create my own game world for when I start dm’ing. Thank you for contributing to the community

Favorite room so far. This is the one I think utilizes the 3D best, such a unique feel you can't get otherwise.

Wow! Cool encounter. Hankerin, you just sold me on crafting. I've never been interested before or ever wanted to have extra "clutter". But, it really adds an element that you just can't get from anything else. Very cool! Your work is truly an inspiration.

Say the character falls off. DM looks like an meanie. Wind blows up...there they are, flying in the wind! Characters have three rounds to capture them and pull them back to the stair, where the wind cannot find them. I may use flumpfs instead of flame skulls for my campaigns with kids, to lighten it up. The flumphs would attack every other turn randomly, only on the downwind. I would also stick a bunch of dying flumphs on the stair for added slipperyness to force the two stair leap. Great encounter Hankerin' and thanks.

Always look forward to your room designs. Freaking brilliant design, simple yet complex and thematic.

Dayuuuung!! I would love to play in one of your games. I'm my groups DM. Just found your channel. Lovin' what I'm see in'! Keep this good stuff coming!

Another great video, man! I love your room designs, they're so mechanically and thematically awesome! I applied your timer and threat factors into a Dwarven puzzle room I had made for my group last week, and it turned it from "right, let's think about how to crack this" to "HOLY HELL WE NEED TO FIGURE THIS OUT PRONTO!" - keep up the good work!

This is awesome! Wish I could find the time to make some of these awesome terrains! I've been wanting to do a 3D terrain version of original D&D adventure White Plume Mountain for quite some time.

First the buck knife, THEN I notice I also have Anduril. Nice. Something I have been wondering. What do you do with all those rooms you create? Is it in storage? Do you recycle it for other projects?
@Runehammer19 жыл бұрын
All stored in a modular system..the more crap I make the less I have to make for subsequent rooms. There's a vid coming on my whole "room bookshelf." And hell yeah Anduril! Finally someone who doesn't think it's Narsil ;}

OOOH modular system, I had an idea of doing that but wasn't sure of how to go about it. Looking forward to it. I know my blades SIR

Do you ever play D&D without minis, just all theater of the mind? I always find myself alternating between them depending on the year and what's popular. One year it'll be "Oh man, minis are the best!" and the next it'll be "You've gotta be kidding me! You don't only use theater of the mind?"
@Runehammer19 жыл бұрын
It's all mini's in 2015 for us. I could see Dungeon World being waaaay more fun just as imagination.
