A bed, two large plants, two tall large floor lamps and a table and chair is all my room has. My closet houses a dresser, clothes, and shoes.... minor storage. That's it simple clean and minimal yet functional

Amazing job! Also your cat probably likes to go into your clothes because cats like to surround themselves with scents they’re familiar with because it brings them comfort. My cat likes to sleep on top of my clothes too that I keep in my bed’s dresser drawers. Also why cats who are afraid while being at a shelter will sit/lay in the litter box, because despite it being where they go bathroom, it has their scent there to comfort them when being stuck in a cage 🥺 (I learned this while volunteering at a cat rescue shelter)

Aaah thanks for telling me 🤍 I’d love to adopt more cats in the future but I’m allergic to them (I do think I built some kind of tolerance now ✌🏻) She’s my sister’s cat and I’m just babysitting her, so good to know that she feels comfortable with me 🥹 (despite all the scratches lol)

for the white drawers, i just went to home depot and got some wheels with stoppers. problem solved =)

Mixing up the wood toned and white pieces definitely made it all work together. That metal drawer assembly always looks so ridiculous to me with the manually bending metal part of the process. Now to see how difficult it is to open, I will stay away from that one. I might get the one you have for your desk since I decided buying a desk without any drawers was somehow a good idea. And your kitty found the perfect nap spot.

Yes yes, the metal drawer is just a piece of decor now, not so functional 🥲 the one from my desk is a good investment indeed, price value is great, just hope ikea don’t change prices up now 🤞🏻 🐱

I own the same metal drawer that you have, and mine closes easily. I would suggest for you to lessen the things stored inside each drawer so that it will glide easily. Hope it helps
