We haven’t seen any liquor minis at this resort during any of the three times we’ve been here 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can you request an adult only room while you book or do you have to wait until you check into the hotel

It doesn’t look like you can book it right on their site 🤔 it looks like they’ve changed some things on their website and added some room categories since we’ve been there… I would email them first to inquire which category of rooms is available in the adults-only section before booking and then see if they can reserve one for you before you arrive. You can also do this at check-in, but it would suck to book a more expensive room if that type of room is not available in that section.

How do you book adult section? We are booked at the Bahia Principe luxury Akumal next month 🤔

You have to book the room category “junior suite DELUXE” to be in the adults-only section. You might be able to upgrade when you check in to the hotel 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, there is an adults-only section with a few buildings on the far side of the resort. There is also an adults only pool and snack bar right outside the adults-only buildings 👍🏻

I heard that staying in the adults only section was very noisy due to people and carts out in the hallway. Can anybody clarify please?🇨🇦

We didn’t notice that when we stayed 🤷🏼‍♀️ but maybe someone else can share their experience as well…

My biggest complaint , at bahia akumal, was my washroom had no fan. And room service is only snack bar food, so avg/ mediocre at best.

Yeah we wished the bathroom had a fan as well 🤷🏼‍♀️ the restaurants definitely have better food than room service 🤷🏼‍♀️

thank you for the tour ,can i mention that they still insist on NOT providing miniature whiskys ,rum or any other drinks in mini bar which is very poor

with all the food provided do they honestly think 2 bags of crisps acceptable . if i remember the room service was terrible

I guess they focus more on the food and beverages at the restaurants and bars than in-room snacks and drinks 🤷🏼‍♀️
