Hi I have the I7 plus and M6 mop. 2 questions 1. I am having a hard time getting the mop to go into my room. Any ideas? We took up the spacer and put cardboard down to make it level and it still won’t go near our room. 2. Can I Share the map from my Room a to my mop? I really thought imprint and map sharing meant just that. Any ideas would help. Thank you for all your videos we purchased the I7 Plus because of the Rice 🍚 video. Keep them coming.😀

Hello, so I would suggest remapping the Braava Jet m6 and observe to see if the robot can go into that area. Once the mapping done, the robot will start to be able to mop that area. Unfortunately you can't share maps across robots and if a maps been created you can't add room. You have to create a new training runs.

Robot Masters thank you we were hoping they could share the map so the Braava m6 would finally see my bedroom. 😅 idk what else to do we have watched it and it just won’t go. I have run the training for a week without cleaning one time. We decided to make the bedroom a new map like it’s upstairs and call it day. Thanks for all your videos!

Can the j7+ do the imprint link with the brava m6 too?

It's the passes which is the difference in the modes in Braava. In extended coverage the passes are wide thus it goes over an area only once, in standard, the passes are a little closer, and for deep cleaning the passes almost overlap thus resulting in it going over a spot multiple times due to the narrow pass with each turn it makes. Read up next time, surprised you owned and had reviewed it but didn't know this simple difference?

Each has it's own map sadly enough. Both robots have to learn navigating your home

How do you get your s9 to gently bump the walls? I mapped and remapped multiple times and it still slams the hell out of everything in front of it :(

Dang I had that problem in the beginning, but after a few updates on Software: 1.14.22 it recognizes objects and slows down. Make sure there nothing caught in the bumper, hair, debris. Also make sure the front of the robot is clean. Lastly perform a reset, hold down power button for 10 seconds, should reset. Hope this helps

Is the camera clean? If it is I think your robot is malfunctioning. I've got the S9+ and M6 and both did a lot of bumping but now they know the home better that is reduced. Still does bump into chairs and other stuff that is never at the same place in the home but that is to be expected. Lighter chairs are even moved around a bit but I don't mind that.

How long have you've owned your s9 and has it had any issues or parts breaking? I've seen people have issues with the rollers breaking and bristles weakening over a couple weeks or months way before it's specified replacement. Asking because I'm receiving it in a few days and would like some more input about this device.

I have owned mine for 9 months, It recommended to change every 3-6 months, depending on how much you use the robot.

So the imprint link only works when you start a cleaning job, unfortunately it not tied to the scheduling feature. I would schedule the i7 first and have an offset maybe a couple of hours than start the m6.

I read that the M6 cannot differentiate between hard floor and carpet. How do you keep it from going on the carpet? Thanks for the vid!

Mandi Williams Yes the Braava m6 can different from carpet and hardwood floor. It can detect the difference in resistance of the mopping pad, carpet has more resistance so it will avoid that area. Also you can use the smart map to keep the Robot out of that area

I have not been able to find how to link them using a schedule. It works fine when you manually start a cleaning job but it does not start the Braava M6 after vacuuming when started from a schedule. Anyone know how if even possible?

@@RobotMasters You're good. Why didn't I think of that. Already have an IFTTT account for turning on the lights when the Roomba starts (so the camera works better on the bot) and turning it off again when finished. Now added a new trigger and action. Should work.

Can you set schedule with both robot's? I mean that after roomba braava will start cleaning. Couse I have only this option after manually starting CLEAN than app ask if I want Braava start cleaning after Roomba. But no matter if I set schedule on roomba or Braava app don't ask for this. So I set Schedule for roomba and than manually schedule for braava. I hope you understand what I mean :D

Hmmm for imprint link the Braava Jet m6 will only mop after the the s9 done, yoy can't change the delay when the robot start mopping in imprint link. You can tell the robots to clean different rooms. Unfortunately you can't schedule the imprint link to work have to manually press clean, so you could schedule the s9 at a time, than estimate how long the s9 will take to clean the area, than schedule the m6 to start than.

Do you have the docking stations for your Roombas plugged into surge protectors? I have renters insurance, but still use surge protectors for my S9+. Would be like flushing $1.5K down the drain if I didn't.

@@RobotMasters Just a thought since you paid $2K for your Roombas. I just swapped out the surge protectors for my home electronics. Didn't realize they are typically good for only a few years. I am just being overly cautious in case their is a storm or power surge. At least I can tell the insurance company I tried to protect my high value electronics.
