Dear Rohan Ji. May Maa Saraswati bless you abundantly. Reed selection is one of the many factors. Don't stress too much. It's a combination of the mouthpiece (type), ligature, position of the ligature, target tone, practice. One has to try a combination. Getting it right takes time. So in one word it will come. In my humble opinion. The first 2-3 years of the journey is tough. The right starting point is the target tone. Your signature. I play with the full range from 1.5 -3.5. Depends on the mood, the genre, the responsiveness from The sax, seasons, room... I can go on. You can send me queries on my email. But I travel a lot. So bear with me.
