I get happy just thinking about state parks-I`ve probably stayed at Roosevelt 50 times (cabins, but mostly tent camping at #40 on the hill. My wife just passed last year...We would sneak rum & Coke in plastic bottles and play pool (Thank you so much for sharing ;- )

Glad to see you back on the road. That's a sweet spot. I do the same when reserving a camp site I check out google maps to try to find a spot with no neighbor on one side. Safe travels.

I love this Dutch oven so much. Do you think it is possible to effectively cook like this over coals inside a Weber kettle rather than on top of a gas burner?

Absolutely! Using a bbq grill is a great way to insulate the oven from wind. Just use coals under and on top. I use gas because it makes it a little easier but the charcoal is a great way to maintain temp.

Btw when I’m at home I like to cook with the Dutch oven inside my PK grill. Like I said, it blocks the wind. I just open all the vents wide open.

Mine is actually a 2019 Honda Monkey. 125cc, fuel injected, tagged and insured for the street.It's a fun bike to have for the state parks and local areas where we camp.

I always use the X-chocks. Keep the axles from rotating when you’re inside moving around.

I use the same Dutch oven I cooked it in. Have a little oil or fat in the pan and fry it on each side for about 5-6 minutes to help get a little crisp going on the skin. Then fill the oven with veggies, stir and coat them good with the oil and more seasoning, then lay chicken on top and cook.

I would suspect an antique store for those miner's lamps as both Adam and Abby shop often at those. So kinda random results would be expected if my guess is right. I've never been around that specialized type of lamp myself and no clue how they are actually set up. But the internet is vast and likely has much better information too.

hey man, cauliflower is awesome, and comes in white, green, orange, and purple (orange is a little carroty, the best one is purple, not bitter like the white one and healthiest. Parmesean cheese makes the difference too.)
