@@aaaa8588 Exactly. There is nothing special about her ingredients. The Ordinary sells a hylaronic acid serum that is just as good as hers only it costs like 7 dollars lol. With Barbara Sturm you pay for the brand name, that's it. It's a celebrity hype line. Also, Barbara sturm said in an interview that sunscreen and sun protection wasn't as important because you can just use her products to reverse all the damage. LOL, no. If there was a miracle cream that would reverse aging everyone would have it. No, prevention is key. No tanning, keep skin clean, hydrated and exfoliate. Tretinoin is the only ingredient that is proven to have somewhat reversal of aging, even that is not miracles though. Barbara sturm can suck it lol!

Actually some dermatologists recommend that people with sensitive skin put products like retinol and strong acids on top of moisturizer so it’s not as irritating. Depends on the base of your moisturizer but usually it will still be effective

Some oil based serum need to be put on after moisturizers (which are generally water based) otherwise the moisturers cannot penetrate through the oil in the serum. It does depend on the products, though.

It's not blood apparently, she didn't explain it very well. They take your blood, spin it in a machine so that the red blood cells separate from the plasma and they use that plasma for facial treatments. Don't know if that really works either but just wanted to explain what it actually is lol.

Thanks both of you for replying. I am familiar with the procedure of spinning biological samples down in a centrifuge in the lab. It is just beyond me if the cells or even the proteins would keep unspoiled to cause any effect.In the lab we need to keep the proteins very cold to keep them intact. I should read up on this :)

I like that she uses green beauty products - minus the blood cell cream. The Honey Mud is no longer being sold due to mild fermentation/bloom issues. They are reformulating this product. Blood cream - no comment. Why? Love the Innersense oil. Not a fan of Caudalie products as they contain alcohol and synthetic fragrance. One of the better routines I've seen on this series.

All my years of using face wash, toner, face mask, mosturizer. Tried products. Nothing works best than St. Ives fresh skin apricot scrub. It gets rid of pimples, breakouts. Flawless face and smooth skin. That's all I use now. I use it once on regular days or twice a day. Rather following the instruction of 3-4 times a week. You can just dab on the zits and it's gone in a couple of days. Those products works but they cost a lot. St. Ives is cheap and just down to one products is nice. To read the scriptures and pray is the best way before bedtime. It calms you down like reading a book, than stay up on the phone. Having a comforter helps to get sleep. I used to have a goose feather one by Ralph Lauren that someone gave me. Overall, comforter for all season. For those who have trouble sleeping. And, keep a journal.

I believe the queen of Scotland use to bathe in blood because she thought it was the key to being youthful forever.
