She came from a friend of mine in Idaho…. Not really a breeder. I also have one from Berg Brothers setters in Minnesota. They make nice dogs

Does your dog from them hunt fairly close, as he was telling me he puts a GPS unit on his setters when he hunts Huns and sharptails. I want a dog that hunts pretty close for roosters in the cattails.

No, on the prairie all my dogs hunt between 250-500 yards. They all shorten up in the cattail though

How the hell do you tell the difference between a hun and a hen (pheasant).

The size, the color, the sound they make….. they look nothing alike and pheasants are way bigger
