I make homemade Chinese Food every Christmas Eve (chicken balls, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour sauce, honey garlic pork, egg rolls). The self-stirring spoon would actually be super handy because the sweet and sour sauce has to be constantly stirred in order for it to thicken. Right now I have to employ a helper (usually my husband) but this would actually help me to make the sauce while doing everything else :)

As Gavin said, it's really not a right handed person thing, it's an American thing. I only discovered that people in America use cutlery weirdly recently, never saw a single person in England or Australia doing it. The only time you'll see people using their right hand for a fork is if there is no knife at all, really. You mentioned your parents got mad about it; was it because it's considered rude? Any ideas where the custom came from?

A self stirring pot is a genius invention, because when working with bechamel or dairy based soups or sauces, it is easy to scorch the bottom turning the entire pot to unusable or burnt. You need constant motion of the liquid to make a quality product and that is why a self stirring pot is genius.

When I (designated lawn mover) moved out of my parents house, dad bought a grass cut roomba, it made me so mad lol. The garden isn't big enough for cutter vehicle (also less gas). It's really cool though, you enclose the grass with a wire slightly under ground and it automatically cuts inside it few times a week. It also just leaves the grass on the ground, in the small amount it actually fertilizes the grass. They're fairly popular with upper middle class in Europe I think.
