Well, if they cut the hole out of the dough from a doughnut and cook it separately, the hole in the doughnut will shrink and the (I'm going to call it a Tim Bit because saying hole twice is just confusing) Tim Bit will get bigger than the hole. Anybody who has baked any form of pastry would know this.

well... I doubt they cut it out. My dad worked for a bakery and they put the dough in a cone shaped container. Then the container went on a machine you cranked and it made the ring shape come out of a nozzle. I figure that's also how they make the balls. The machine was old timed fashioned but I think cutting it out would be even more work and counterproductive when compared to the machine.

When Gus "hosts" the podcast, he's very clinical about making sure everything runs the way it should. When Burnie "hosts", it's so close to beautiful, purely entertaining chaos. He's like a talk show host; he just pulls people in and out when they can offer their expertise or insight. Go Burnie.

+Eorzat he is actually correct. Acupuncture is entirely a placebo with no medical benefits. The only thing that makes it "work" is if the individual believes it will. I'm not sure where you got your information but it has in fact been proven that the placebo effect is the only thing driving acupuncture.
