Added a link in the vid description that explains Street Passing. It really is just what it looks like in the video. When your 3DS gets close to someone else's, they show up in your Street Pass plaza. It's a lot of fun at conventions, which is where we picked it up. Ashley introduced it to us back when she worked at IGN.

Street Pass is a passive interaction between 3DS systems for the app Mii Plaza that is full of mini-games and just a way to "meet" other Miis from other people's systems. This happens with all 3DS systems when they get into a certain range of each other. For example, I walked through an airport and got about 5 or 6 street passes. Its just a fun little thing on the 3DS.

StreetPass is a feature for the Nintendo 3DS which gives people stuff for different games when you pass by each other in real life. So if Gus and Burnie both has their 3DS' in their pocket and they pass, they would both get something, which triggers a green LED light on the front of the 3DS. By driving by their house at night, this green light would trigger, and it would notify Gus that Burnie just streetpassed him.

marinesoul1009 it's not so much the green light, it's the fact you have to be relatively close to someone to street pass (10 feet or so) and the green light tells you when someone has street passed you. so yeah, it's like weird that they're street passing when they don't expect the person to be there!!

Avery Logsdon They explain why they're doing it in the video. When they drive past Gus' house they turn on his streetpass because they get close enough to activate it, but they don't actually live near Gus, which is why it'd be weird for Gus to be streetpassing them so late at night and why he'd be confused by it.
