Root and Salt Fusion | Woodturning

Kitchen cycle. Almost a year ago, Wooden Boy retrieved an unknown root from the bottom of the Kyiv Reservoir. We attempted to process it a year ago, but the wood was very loose and soft, causing it to constantly slip off the lathe. We managed to create something that seemed acceptable and interesting to us. However, over time, we decided to modify it a bit. Here is the result. The finished product was sanded to 4000 grit without oil coating. Enjoy watching!
CAUTION: In the video shown, using gloves on lathe IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED for safety reasons! I'm forced to use them because of my skin allergy to wood dust. Therefore, I have to work slowly and with my fingers at a distance than when working without gloves. In responsible and dangerous situations, I work without gloves. ALWAYS FOLLOW SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!
