I have so much respect for Mr Rollins. Recipes aside, the example you set just makes me smile. You are such a grateful, appreciative man. He’s thankful for each day, his wife, our country and military men and women. Most of all, he’s thankful to god for the chance to live happy and he never hides that. I’m not stepping up on a pulpit here, but I have to voice my humble respect for these fine people and the example they set. Your videos always make my day better. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

UM UM UMMM. It looks fantastic and I'll wager it tastes better than it looks. Thanks Kent and Shannon for another great video. Kent, my 98 year old father-in-law passed away on Monday the 7th, 2019. He was a WW 2 Veteran and before that, he was a Oklahoma Cowboy. He grew up around Minco, Ada and, McAlester. He was a very lovong and giving man but, tough on those who felt entitled and only wanted handouts. Happy Dance. You always bring a smile to my face whenever you do your Happy Dance. Thanks. Stan

I've watched almost all of your videos in the last 3 days while laid up in bed. I love cooking on an open fire with cast iron. My husband and I are building a house (with our own hands) and every time my husband asks me to make a design decision I tell him I don't care as long as I get my outdoor kitchen! My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I've done a couple cast iron cookouts to celebrate in the past, your videos have convinced me to do another one this year! Cheers to you, Shannon and "The Beag"!

I've made this many times now both camping and at home it's one of the best ways to have potatos. One tip for anyone down here crush your garlic really fine (just use the flat of your knife and smash it.) Then add it to your root beer and just let that sit long as you can. Crushing gets the juices and enzymes flowing from that garlic and letting that mix with the root beer takes this to a whole new level.

My wife bought a bunch of stuff off of his website for one of my Christmas presents. They are delicious. The chipotle relish is amazing! I made the best smoked wings with the red river ranch seasoning. Definitely not some generic mix of dried spices. Show this fellow some love and visit his site!

Good evening, Sir! I truly wished i was close enough to be able to visit you, learn from your instruction face to face and just be in an environment that is a little bit slower (actually a whole lot) paced. My respect and admiration for Shan, the pups and yourself is endless. Well time to eat dinner. I wish i was having some of your biscuits and gravy! Continue to have great days above the grass and I will do my best to practice and mirror your recipes and techniques. To Shannon, Beag, Frankie, Dukey and last but by NO least, the patriarch, Mr. Kent “God Bless and pass the biscuits!”

Never heard of root beer potatoes before, but gonna have to give this a try. Wondering if this would be a good use of leftover root beer that's gone a little flat.
