Welcome back to the channel, Natasha and I head off for a few days at Root Hog crossing on the Macquarie river at the Bridle Track. We found ourselves a great spot on the banks of the river and it was even warm enough for a swim this time.
Thank you so much for watching and all the support
Cheers Shad

Hi Shad, I'm not a big fan of the 76 series after having owned one, but I've worked out after watching a few of your videos that's about the only thing I can dislike about yah! haha 😂 vehicle choice. For this reason I've just scribed to help your numbers. Love your firepit wind guard-reflector, it's physical storage size would be it's only drawback, I'm summising. How good are those Icheck tyre deflators ? We deflate to 25psi all round in far less time than we could with the ARB deflator. Basically fit one, go round vehicle fitting others, return to 1st one then set off removing them in a continuous circular motion, awesome. The location is idea for families, shallow sandy section then deep swimming section opposing it. Now, you are to be praised for taking the time to clean up other GRUBS rubbish, good on yah! Yes, if KZbinrs such as yourselves showed some of your efforts in productions it may go a long way in encouraging others to do likewise. Unlike 24/7 whom just did a session on how we all need to do this, I was so taken in, it's reinforced in me to be more vigilant and practice likewise. Then, disappointingly in the following episodes they are clearly throwing disregarded food scraps directly on the ground (shame on you Mr. Cahill) smashing windows on tracks (Jock), it's just so disappointing. Practice what you preach 24/7, clean your own act up. They should actually show us their claims they clean up, video it, present it! (They don't hold back on showing us how to trash tracks in their footage, shame is others then copy them). I've had my rant, let's all practise tread lightly, clean up, keep the tracks available to us. Wealie

Thanks mate, I appreciate it hey and fully understand that you don’t like the 76 and that’s ok 👍. It would be pretty boring world if we all just liked the same thing. The fire pit and windshield pack down flat so that’s not too bad its just the weight I suppose. I really like the tyre deflators they are nice and easy to use just walk around and put em on, i have found for me that they are about 2 psi out but once you know that its fine. They are great for me as I’m airing down i can get some camera gear ready. The rubbish is a real tricky one as far for me i like to promote cleaning up a bit but try not to harp on about it as i think it might turn people away and take away from the video. I left a bit out of this video as I cleaned up about 4 fireplaces and consolidated them and also cleaned up heaps of toilet paper when the toilet is only 100metres away. But definitely some of the bigger channels could help a bit more with that message. Actually we had a confrontation with some people on the weekend just gone as they left there rubbish behind and the fire roaring and we put it out and took the rubbish and what do know we caught up to them. Cheers Mate , I’ll keep trying to get the message across

@@shaddonaghue fires, rubbish, it's tad frustrating, ha? Fortunately I've found a great use for my grey water tank whenever I have our van in tow, I use our stored shower/wash up water to douse camp fires left unattended next morning. To our horror, once when recceing Baal Bone Gap Rd we came across a group of clowns camp fire they'd only just vacated from, loaded it with all their rubbish, including butane gas canisters, but wait, rolled a truck tyre, (not a 4bie tyre, a truck tyre) on and left it. We rolled up just as tyre was catching on. My son and I utilised a tree branch & shovel to drag the tyre off whilst dodging darting butane cans, then our shovel to cover the tyre in sand to smother it, recovered remaining butane cans with shovel, then spread out the stumps and smothered them as well. Was a massive effort over a long period. Would have had great delight in handing their details to authorities, but unfortunately we'd just missed them going on the tyre just beginning to combust. Twas also a dry time also. We are surrounded by tossers unfortunately.
@shaddonaghue
@shaddonaghue 8 ай бұрын
@@ianweal3081 we are definitely surrounded by tossers, i think the penelties need to be harsher and more people need to record number plates etc, don’t want to sound like a dobber but we need to protect what we have left , most of these spots are free to camp and i want to be doing this in 20years still, not couped up in a caravan park.
