Hi, my phone is the same model you used for this demo. It just has a locked bootloader after I rooted it, then sadly performed an OTA update.. (Thanks Verizon) In essence it won't let me install or boot to Recovery mode and I pretty much FUBARED it by installing buncha tars on it using Odin. I have followed every step in your video, and now it's @ 18% but I just realized after finishing this video, that the progress bar doesn't show on the phone (in downloading mode)I am not sure if this process is going to flash the phone or not.. At the same time I don't want to abort this process. We'll see.. Thanks

The program wants the model name/number not device name. you can get that under the battery too, makes it easier than hunting for it.

Same problem here. Kies couldn't even install the firmware. Via Odin I managed to do it but it's still in Restart-loop...might give it to a mobile shop but don't think that this (hard) brick will be fixed :-(
