A lot of people like to make fun of Rootpaw for being overly emotional, but his story is actually quite sad when you really put all the pieces together.

Another really sad thing about Rootpaw. Needlekit was named after Needletail and looks more like Violetshine. Rootpaw was named after roots. The *roots* of a *Tree* and he looks more like Tree. Even as a kit he was expected to be like his father. And this was mostly for his *looks*

Rootpaw is so sweet! His reaction to being helped is something I adore. I relate to being socially awkward and have social anxiety With being on the autism spectrum it's hard to understand others completely or know what's acceptable in society which makes social anxiety worse!

I can also relate since I have autism and social anxiety, but with antisocial and anger issues. whenever I'm in school, I always have a feeling that everyone will judge me, make fun of me, bother me, or ruining my drawings. When I had a friend which is a small girl (which I going to kept her as annoyances) and it takes places when I was 4th grade. we were best friends, but one time she got mad at me, but I forgive her and once we got to 7th grade, I show her my drawing. She accused me in a disturbing way of trying to take the teachers hearts out which I WASN'T GOING TOO!! Sorry, anyways I felt very backstabbed, betrayed, and raged and when we met again in PE and takes places in 8th grade, she called by plushie "dumb and pathetic" That was the last straw and that was the last time I ever talked to her and I felt like I can't trust anyone to be my friend which led me to get my anger issues, social anxiety, and antisocial. Now that I had new friends and told me about my friendship past, they totally understand what I been though. And yes I do love drawing and I love drawing cats and animals since I'm a huge animal lover.

Wow, I can't believe I came across a warrior cat video. I remember when I was little and watched all these warrior cat videos. The surprising thing why I clicked on this video was because when I was younger I used to have a OC called RootPaw with the same exact color pelt (different eyes) and almost same personality traits expect my RootPaw was more of a I guess brave and strong and social. It brings back sooooo much memories. Nice video too!!!!!!

I relate to Rootpaw, not just because I have social anxiety but also because I have abandonment anxiety. When someone is even just a little bit nice to me, I think I'm in love with them. I'm 21 btw almost 22 and I still struggle to break out of being too attached to people. I was emotionally manipulated and abused(in more ways than one) by people I thought loved me. It's hard for me to keep friends if I even make them.

As someone who is very social anxious at times, I definitely understand how Rootpaw feels and up until Lost Stars, I was really annoyed with how easily every main character built relationships and could easily talk to other people when it really isn't easy. Well, for me at least. Edit: I've finished the video now and what Akira described about himself, I've got to say I have a lot of the same problems and it nice to know I'm not the only one. :)

I relate a ton to rootpaw. Cuz growing up I was like rootpaw. Didn’t understand how to make friends and isolate myself when I was a kid. Was bullied and beat up my bullies. Though that didn’t make anything better. Bullies left me alone but then everyone did cuz of the beat down I dished out. So just hung out at the libraries reading alone. During recess I always had a book to read. Even during lunch. Didn’t have any friends and still don’t. My trust in people is gone
