Just a few weeks ago I began going to my local orthodox church. Last sunday the bishop asked us and the whole community to pray for him and the metropolitan. Until that day, when i hears him talk in a personal level i felt something sometimes a bit off, but yet he has so much attention for others, eventhough sometimes it looks to me that he might be too harsh, but listening to what this priest said. I just can't imagine what this bishop i knew must be going through all the time... May God bless and take care of all christian orthodox priest, may He give them the strength they need.

What I noticed is that people who are against ecumenism have this distorted view of ecumenism which is based on how Protestant view the development of the Church or based on how modernists view religion. There are a lot of people involved in ecumenism who don't believe in this view of a Christianity with multiple branches but who are actively involved in trying to accomplish the prayer which Christ had before His passions: for all Christians to be one.

God bless this man. He truly knows what it means to be a priest and how scary it is to be in that role. The leaders of the church will be judged more harshley than anyone else as they are responsible for the flock. Pray for them. Thats why the Orthodox kiss the hands of the priest for truly they deserve the respect and prayer because they are in such a scary role.

And other Eastern and the Church in India from what I understand. My desire is thay will reach out to others. I am Protestant and I won't mention my denomination,, but they have a lot of understanding and wisdom that the body in general needs. But lets be fair the Protestant Catholic and Orthodox churches have proven that we are all sinners in need of Gods grace. Our fleshly human nature is always in the way. So grace to all of us in this big family with its errors and pride and even disobedience. Love to all.
