All you have to do is hold the start button for 5 seconds and it cancels the cycle. Then you can select the cycle you want and use it.

My washing machine performs the wash cycle and drains the water, however it no longer performs the rinse or spin cycle. I already checked the water filling pump and the capacitor and they work.

Hold the button for a few seconds and it will stop completely and then you can restart a whole new cycle.

Mine is set on lid lock and won’t open I have done the reset diagnostic unplugged It held the button for five seconds nothing. It won’t open.

@@tcdplumbingmore9650 Early belt drives actually told you that it would be different now they don’t include that under the lid to not scare people I assume. Newer H.E. machines don’t even tell you if it’s an H.E. machine. They sometimes even removed the logo on the machine so it’s harder to know.

I have a Roper washer an it broke down they say it the agitator dogs I guess that it what they are called my agitator turns to left but when u turn it to right it not catching on the bottom of the agitator so it will not agitate an it leaves soap on my clothes .
