Handmade Roping Saddle featuring rough-out and smooth leather. The saddle in this video was made in the year 2001. Saddle is in the saddle shop for some minor repairs and maintenance stirrup leathers, stirrup treads and new connecting straps to help protect the front rigging's.

What weight of leather do you use on your flat plate riggings?

I use 13/15 saddle skirting for saddles.

Kinda like the maker been around for awhile and used pretty heavy but still has alot of life left. A light oiling and some rebuilt fingers then its good to go. Blessings on ya Ole Son. As ever just Tom
